Newcastle and Sunderland.
Results on Saturday brought the completion of the League One fixtures, the final league table. Only the play-offs to come.
Sunderland finishing in the lowest ever position in their history, fifth in the third tier of English football.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have one game to play and are 14th in the Premier League, the highest they can now end up is 13th, the lowest 15th.
As it stands, the gap between Newcastle and Sunderland is 35 league placings.
Only twice in the history of the two clubs has this been greater.
The brilliant graphic below has been produced by a friend of The Mag, showing the difference in league positions between Newcastle and Sunderland, over the course of the last 60 years.
As you can see Newcastle have been dominant, certainly over these past 50 years, apart from those wilderness years of the late 70s and 80s, when NUFC managed to be even worse than the Mackems.
