Alan Shearer salutes Newcastle United manager, team and fans as NUFC run riot on final day of season

Alan Shearer was loving it as Newcastle finished the season in style.

A wonderful Jonjo Shelvey volley setting United on their way as early as the ninth minute.

Newcastle in cruise control as Ayoze Perez made it 2-0 only two minutes later.

It was the most comprehensive Newcastle United victory of the season as they handed Fulham their 26th defeat of the campaign.

Fulham had the possession and the effort but were so limited in the final third, not a great day for Mitro…

Fabian Schar grabbed his fourth goal of the season on the hour mark.

Then a superb Salomon Rondon display was signed off in the final seconds with an excellent finish.

Newcastle rose above Bournemouth to finish 13th and now we wonder if Rondon and Rafa will be seen again.
