Hatem Ben Arfa ahead of Lionel Messi as second best dribbler in Europe this season
Hatem Ben Arfa is 32 now but still making the headlines.
A new report shows that only one player in the top/big five European Leagues has better dribbling stats so far this season.
Hatem Ben Arfa averaging 5.6 successful dribbles in every 90 minutes.
Playing for Rennes, the playmaker has scored nine goals and three assists in all competitions and continues to score spectacular goals.

Just as was the case when he played for Newcastle United, NUFC fans still argue the player’s merits (or otherwise).
Even his harshest critic can’t deny that when he was good he was very good.

As for the stats, they are pretty special.
Hatem Ben Arfa started only 48 Premier League games for Newcastle but was directly involved in 23 PL goals, scoring 13 and getting 10 assists.
As you can see in the stats below, the likes of Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard and Neymar are all trailing behind the former Newcastle man.
