Brilliant Alan Shearer reaction perfectly sums up Newcastle United win at Leicester

Along with rest of the Newcastle United fanbase, Alan Shearer loved what he saw at the King Power on Friday night.

A totally committed performance restricted Leicester to very few chances, whilst at the other end, Newcastle looked dangerous on the break.

Salomon Rondon smashing a free-kick off the woodwork, before Ritchie’s excellent cross produced an even better header from Ayoze Perez to win the game.

Alan Shearer declaring “Great cross, great header, great goal, Ayoze Perez.’

It was a real team performance though and every Newcastle player (and fan!) contributed to the victory that should now ensure safety.

The moment prompting Alan Shearer to break out into ‘Who’s that team we call United, Who’s that team we all adore, Oh, we play in Black and White…’

Now all we need is for Rafa’s future to be sorted and Mike Ashley to sell up.

Then just maybe the club can move forward once again.

Alan Shearer reacts to win over Leicester:

“Great cross great header great goal, Ayoze Perez.”

“Who’s that team we call United, Who’s that team we all adore, Oh, we play in Black and White…

“Great result.

“Newcastle United – Well done lads.”
