Updated Premier League relegation odds after weekend results – No offers on 2 clubs
The bookies have now revised their Premier League relegation odds after the weekend’s matches at the bottom end of the table.
Huddersfield’s collapse from 3-1 up to 4-3 final score at West Ham, being the final blow for them.
Whilst Fulham pulled it back to 1-1 to give themselves faint hope, only for Liverpool to score a late winner.
Huddersfield are 17 points off safety and Fulham 14 points, with seven games each to play.
They are only waiting for it to be a mathematical certainty, the bookies reacting by refusing to take any bets now on the pair being relegated.
Burnley blew it big time, despite playing most of the game against 10 men, they managed to lose at home to Leicester.
That result means both them and Southampton are only two points above Cardiff in the third relegation spot.
However, the bookies (see below) have Cardiff as very short priced favourites at 1/3.
Cardiff have Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd still to play but have a game in hand on Burnley.
As for Burnley, their last seven games include matches against Chelsea, Man City, Everton and Arsenal.
Southampton only have one game left against a top six team and the bookies make them 16/1 big outsiders to get that final relegation spot.
Newcastle are now a massive 150/1 to go down, the bookies seeing it as all but zero chance of this happening.
A massive match at the bottom sees Burnley at home to Cardiff on Saturday 13 April, if either club wins that one, it could be decisive.
