A heavier weighting is given to the most recent match in descending order to the fifth last one, with the intention of showing who is most in form.
After the weekend matches, which included Newcastle’s dramatic win over Everton, the rankings have now been updated.
Newcastle’s last five PL games have been (working backwards):
Bournemouth 2 Newcastle 2
Newcastle 3 Everton 2
Newcastle 2 Burnley 0
Newcastle 2 Huddersfield 0

Newcastle United have three players in the top 50.
Salomon Rondon is in brilliant form and rises from 11th to 3rd after that brilliant free-kick capped another very good performance at Bournemouth.
