Positives for Rafa Benitez as two Newcastle players return to training after injury
A number of Newcastle players are away on international duty but business as usual back at the NUFC training ground.
So far this week Martin Dubravka, DeAndre Yedlin and Paul Dummett have all played in wins for their respective countries.
However, after a few days off, the NUFC squad members back at home, have been training ahead of Arsenal a week on Monday.
On Friday the club released a gallery of photos from training and good to see Rob Elliot back on the training pitch after his long-term injury.
Also, after missing the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth with a knee problem, Jamaal Lascelles was also taking part in today’s session with the rest of the squad.
Amongst those seen training today were: Matt Ritchie, Ayoze Perez, Jonjo Shelvey, Isaac Hayden, Federico Fernandez, Javier Manquillo, Ciaran Clark, Joselu, Yoshinori Muto, Kenedy, Karl Darlow, Mohamed Diame, Ki Sung-yeung and Antonio Barreca.
With the game delayed by two days due to live TV, it means there will be no issues regarding the late arrival back of any of the international players.
