Only six Premier League players have played 2,790 minutes of PL football this season and Martin Dubravka is one of them.

The Newcastle United keeper has started and finished all 31 games this season.

Of the other five to also play 2,790 minutes, four (Fabianski, Schmeicel, Pickford and Alisson) are also keepers, with Burnley’s Ben Mee the only outfield player.

There are another seven players to have also played every minute of their club’s PL games but they have only played 30 games (2,700 minutes) so far.

These are outfield players Conor Coady, Cesar Azpilicueta and Luka Milivojević, plus another four keepers; Neil Etheridge, Ben Foster, David De Gea and Ederson.

When it comes to Newcastle United, these are the next six highest in terms of PL minutes, maybe a bit of a surprise at who is in second spot behind Martin Dubravka:

2,369 Ayoze Perez

2,325 Matt Ritchie

2,295 DeAndre Yedlin

2,208 Jamaal Lascelles

1,979 Salomon Rondon

1.965 Mohamed Diame

Since making his debut for Newcastle 13 months ago, Martin Dubravka has actually played 3,870 Premier League minutes without a break.

‘It was a masterstroke from Rafael Benitez to sign the Slovakian when he did.

‘As he is now one of the Premier League’s most consistent goalkeepers and the interest from some of Europe’s elite, such as Juventus, is a testament to his talent and growing reputation.’
