Hatem Ben Arfa winds up Arsenal fans after famous win : Some classic replies – they’re not happy!

Hatem Ben Arfa is back on form.

After a nightmare at PSG he is back smiling and playing  football with unfashionable Rennes.

Thursday was the former Newcastle United player’s 32nd birthday and he was on top form.

Man of the match Hatem Ben Arfa led Rennes to their greatest ever European night, beating Arsenal 3-1.

The Gunners had a man sent off and now face a tough second leg to turn it around.

Rennes had such demand for tickets that they could have sold their stadium out three times last night.

Those that were there saw Hatem Ben Arfa turn it on and afterwards he did the same, getting the Arsenal fans biting, when declaring ‘We will go to London to win.’

GFFN on Twitter reporting Hatem Ben Arfa after Rennes beat Arsenal 3-1:

“Before the game, we were not favourites.

“Today, after this 3-1, we are favourites.

“Some people will say the opposite but I say we are favourites.

“And we will go to London to win.”

And the replies from Arsenal fans (and others…):

‘As if we are letting a Newcastle reject talk like this.’

‘Reject? He was one of their best players.’

‘He’s terrible, we make average players look like gods it’s very simple.’

‘He’s very good, but he’s a wasted talent.’‏

‘If he was very good he wouldn’t be playing where his is.’

‘He’s very good, everyone know it in france. In play for the French team in world cup.

He won 5 Ligue 1, he were compare to zidane younger.

Big talent with bad mental.’‏

‘No chance.. when you come to the Emirates you’ll lose. Up The Gun.’

‘You will come to London and park the bus. But I hope you come to play so we can rip you apart.’

‘This reject is talking rubbish but Arsenal players can be funny.’

‘Rejected by who?’‏

Newcastle, OGNice.’

‘Why would he say this. He has made sure the coach does not need to give a team talk. He just needs to pin these quotes on the dressing room wall.’

But he’s right…the team and the manager don’t have character…most likely going to be another near miss. Maybe arsenal winning 2-1.’

‘The old manager maybe. This loss is more about individual mistakes and poor individual performances. Sokratis, Monreal, Aubameyang, even Xhaka and Guendouzi. Next week is a different case.’

‘When and you come to London, and loose.. I will laugh. You dirty French.’

‘Haha he is in for a real shock when he realises that Arsenal at home is a different ball game to Arsenal playing away. They’ll get spanked.’

‘We shall revisit.’‏

‘Opinions are welcome u won at ur home with the help of reff red card next week 11 against 11 we go again I bet u we beating u 3 0 at home.’

‘Arsenal fans talking tough.’
