Everton fans get their retaliation in early – Never let us down with comments on Newcastle United

One thing you can safely say about Everton fans, they are nothing if not predictable.

As you can see from the comments below ahead of Saturday, Newcastle United and their supporters continue to have a special place in their hearts.

The venom in the comments is heartwarming.

The worst thing really is to be ignored, so I always take this as a compliment.

Their new thing, obviously with heightened worries of their rivals actually winning the Premier League this season, is that Newcastle supporters are now all wanting Liverpool to win as well.

I think a lot of us would rather Everton lose than Liverpool but as for the title race I doubt you would find many Newcastle fans who care whoever wins it.

Comments from Everton fans via their top Grand Old Team message board:

‘Can’t wait to see Rafas face when we win 2 0.’

‘I don’t care how poor the team is, how unhappy I am with them, I want nothing more than an absolute drubbing of this FSW.’

‘Fancy at least a 1-1 or a 2-1 Everton win, decent little record there for us lately of 5 wins from last 7, though they have won there last 4 home games.’

You just know Rafa will want to exact revenge for us denting the red scum’s title hopes.’

‘Rafa keeps it tight at the back and gets men behind the ball. I think we have the players to unpick them. Need to use the width and make sure we’re not vulnerable to the counter.’

‘If Newcastle win that makes them unofficial world champions.

Lot at stake.’

‘One more win and the boys can officially put their flip-flops on….2-1 to the bluenoses. Season over, bring on the summer transfer window and the fire sale we so desperately need.’

‘Black and white kopites

Hope we destroy them.’

‘Show these up for the garbage they are and put them right back in that relegation battle.

On a side note, Walcott better not be near this squad.’

‘Sold out our allocation again. Well done blues.’

‘This weekend, Watford have got Man City away and Wolves have got Chelsea away. We have to get a win here to give us a chance of getting that European place.’

‘Very important we miss out on Europe, hope Wolves win, maybe also West Ham and Leicester.’

‘People really underestimate the amount of dross in the prem. Over the past few years we’ve had some dreadful spells but never have been in relegation danger.’

‘Proper weird team at the moment are Newcastle. Then again so are we.’

‘They punch horses, wave shoes, go topless, worship FSW, shout at shops and have a love in with the red scum, hurt them Everton.

‘That’s the most offensive of all their traits. Why do they feel the need? Middle aged fat men taking their tops off in sub zero temps.

“look at me, I’m proper mad me”.’

‘..who look like they’ve consumed China’s entire tofu exports …terrible man-boobs displayed.’

‘Aside from the RS, this is the club I hate most.

Vile owner, vile manager, delusional fan’s, crap brown ale, to name a few reasons.’

‘Which Newcastle turn up on the day. Will they go uber defensive for the point in which case we’ll struggle, or open up and allow us opportunities.’

‘Saturday will show the mentality of the players wont it.

if they turn up again and put a shift in they will want to finish the season strong.

or they just put in the tripe they have most of the season thinking they’ve done their job for the season with the derby draw.’

‘With the Heightened emotion of the Derby and the extra effort of the players, this game might be a bit of a come down.

But three more points and the players can start to think about what places to visit on holiday.

Hard to judge so I’m going 1-1 early Rondon goal, then a late Richarlison equaliser.’

‘It’s Newcastle lads, I know we’ve been pish all season but we’re still above these and they are bang average people going on like they’re tough to beat.

Easy 2-0 win.’

‘Thing is at Goodison they didn’t look the “bang average” team.We at the minimum need to put in the same amount of effort as the Derby, if we do a result should come.’

‘Newcastle are virtually safe (probably one more win for them and a couple of draws will likely do it) so I wouldn’t be surprised if they lack a bit of intensity against us. We would have gained a huge amount of confidence from the Cardiff win and the performance in the derby, so I’m expecting an Everton win.’

‘Their new wonder kid Longstaff is out with a knee injury.’

‘I don’t rate him but they’re desperate to have a great academy player and I don’t recall a single one.’

‘The thing I’m least looking forward to is the giant staircase I’ll have to travail up to the away end. Had an asthma attack the last time I went up those, which caused me to miss Rooney’s goal (n)

Allezfan was kind enough to wait with me on the staircase to make sure I didn’t die, which was nice of him.

Will have to get there early on Saturday so I can climb up slowly.’
