By midnight on Friday is the last chance to get your name on the new Wor Flags giant Gallowgate End flag.

This flag will cover literally the entire Gallowgate End!

The full £15,000 has been raised by Newcastle fans to produce the new monster flag.

However, Wor Flags are still accepting donations until midnight tomorrow (Friday 29 March), with the total currently standing at £16,815.

The additional money raised will go towards producing other flags, as well as repairing ones already in use.

Donate HERE and your name will be added to the new giant Gallowgate End flag.

A message from Wor Flags :

The names will be getting added to the flag on Saturday so any donations after midnight tomorrow (Friday) will unfortunately not have the names on the flag!

Remember not to remain anonymous if you want your name on. Leave a comment on the page if you want the name of a loved on/supporters group. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far!

This is your chance to become part of the literal fabric of the Gallowgate End.

Wor Flags are fundraising to buy a brand new massive surfer flag.

The biggest and best flag we have ever bought.

Please include the name you would like included on the flag in the comments when you make your donation!

Here’s why we’re trying to fund another surfer flag.

In 2016 the original Gallowgate Flags group purchased the now Iconic “We are United” surfer (see above)that has been seen pre match in our most famous stand for the past two seasons.

General wear and tear on that flag has meant it is now in need of a huge amount of repairs, which has meant we have been unwilling to put it out in the stands so far this season in fear of irreparable damage occurring.

While we fully intend on giving “We Are United” the tender love and care that it requires to ensures that it remains a fixture of our displays for years to come, we now realise that we need to be able to rotate it alongside a brand new Surfer that will allow us protect each of them for a longer period of time.

**Serious names only. Profanity or obviously non-serious names will not be included.

Adorned with iconic sights from across our city and region, this will be a sight to remember.

From Asprilla’s goals versus Barcelona, to Tiote’s rocket of defiance that completed the courageous comeback vs Arsenal, or any of Shearer’s countless efforts, the Gallowgate End has been home to some defining moments in our club’s history.

Wor Flags, with the help of some incredible support, want to add to that history.

By 1pm today (Thursday 28 March) an incredible £16,815 had been donated by 1,759 people.
