Welcome to the launch of the brand new website from The Mag
Borrowing from the Olympic ideal…’Faster, Higher, Stronger’ is the aim.
Yes, welcome to the launch of the brand new website from The Mag.
On Thursday just gone (14 February / Valentine’s Day /Kevin Keegan’s 68th birthday), we had a soft/quiet launch of the new design.
We are always looking to deliver a better service to Newcastle fans, even 31 years on after The Mag first launched as a paper magazine back in 1988.
A time/era when the club was in turmoil and Newcastle United ended up relegated in 1988/89. The more things change the more they stay the same.
The best part of a year in the planning and development, the aim of the new Mag website is to give visitors and writers a much better experience.
We can’t control what happens on the pitch, or indeed what happens off the pitch inside the football club, but we can strive to give you the best possible coverage in terms of news and views on Newcastle United.
You should find the new site a lot quicker to load and easier to navigate, as well as looking a lot easier on the eye.
Loads of other important changes have been made in the back end of the new site, which hopefully will lead to that much better user experience, people finding this out for themselves as they get used to the new design.
Whether visitor or contributor, or a bit of both, thanks again for all of your support and please enjoy the new website.
Having covered 31 years of hurt so far, as the biggest source of independent Newcastle United coverage, here’s to the next 31 years…
