When it comes to longest serving managers in England, Rafa Benitez is remarkably high on the list.

Considering he is still almost a month short of three years at Newcastle, 77 of the other 91 English clubs have changed manager at least once, since Rafa took over at St James Park.

Of the 14 ahead of him, five are Premier League bosses, suggesting it is even tougher managing outside the top tier.

The top 15 longest serving current managers in the top four divisions:

7 years 284 days – Jim Bentley (Morecambe)

6 years 150 days – Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)

6 years 131 days – Eddie Howe (Bournemouth)

6 years 114 days – Sean Dyche (Burnley)

6 years 30 days – Keith Hill (Rochdale)

4 years 270 days – Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham)

4 years 156 days – John Coleman (Accrington Stanley)

4 year 52 days – Chris Hughton (Brighton)

3 years 348 days – Neil Harris (Millwall)
