Premier League form table ahead of Wolves v Newcastle United is well worth a look

The Premier League form table ahead of Newcastle United taking on Wolves.

Newcastle losing to Tottenham after home wins over Cardiff and Man City.

The only other point in this six game form guide being the draw at Watford, which was followed by defeats to Man Utd and Chelsea.

Four wins in the last six games, including victories in their last three, have Wolves placed fourth in this Premier League form table and now clear in seventh in the full table.

These last three matches have seen a surprise increase in goals for Wolves, 10 scored in three after only 21 in the previous 22.

Elsewhere in the form table, surprising to see Burnley as high as third, with three wins and three draws.

Burnley are level on points with Newcastle and despite this latest run of form, Sean Dyche’s team are surprisingly rated more likely to go down than Newcastle.

Despite Newcastle not playing today, there are some crunch games to look out for.

As the current full Premier League table shows below, only five points separate Cardiff who are third bottom and Brighton five places higher in 13th, it looks like one of those six clubs will join Fulham and Huddersfield in the Championship, unless Ranieri can work some magic, starting today against form club Man Utd, who are top of the form league under Solskjaer.

These are the Premier League fixtures this weekend and whilst Newcastle can’t drop into the bottom three, I think wins for Burnley and Cardiff would be a big blow for Newcastle, Rafa’s team left fourth bottom and only above Southampton on goal difference.
