The results of the Newcastle v Burnley player ratings by fans.

Always interested to see what supporters have collectively made of the latest performance, when using our interactive ratings system.

Each player marked out of 10 and the averages below.

Out on his own at the top is Fabian Schar (9.0). Solid defending, largely impressive passing and a spectacular goal.

Two others rated very highly, with Sean Longstaff (8.6) next best. Like Schar he topped off a very good display with a goal.

Third highest we have Martin Dubravka (8.3). Only three goals conceded in the last six games and only four PL clubs have now conceded less than Newcastle/Dubravka. Made a couple of good saves but it was his excellent handling and bravery in taking difficult crosses that  were the stand out in this performance.

On a day when nobody played badly, all the other eight starters were rated 7.0 or higher by supporters.

Highest of those was Florian Lejeune (7.8) and Isaac Hayden (7.8).

Lejeune’s long range passing was very good and he was also well up for the physical side as Burnley went route one. Hayden was yet again part of a great duo in the middle of the pitch, he and Longstaff doing great work in front of the defence.

Matt Ritchie (7.7) once again looks as though he has been a wing-back all his life, whilst Jamaal Lascelles (7.6) was another central defender well up for competing against Burnley’s sizeable strikers.

Miguel Almiron (7.5) and Salomon Rondon (7.5) gave it plenty of effort on a night when clear chances were at a premium.

Manquillo (7.2) was a surprise inclusion but held his own, whilst bottom of the ratings Ayoze Perez (7.0) still put in an ok shift.

Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 7pm Wednesday:
