Bookies give odds on Miguel Almiron scoring at least 6 goals this season for Newcastle United
Monday afternoon has brought reports that Miguel Almiron is expected to be available to start training with his Newcastle United teammates by the middle of this week.
The playmaker/number 10 travelled to Paris with his agent on Sunday in order to help speed up the process.
Miguel Almiron has said he is desperate to start playing as soon as possible, with Wolves away next Monday (11 February) looking likely for him making his debut.
With 13 games to go, the bookies (BetVictor) have produced a range of special Newcastle United bets, including whether Almiron can score 6 or more goals in the remaining 13 Premier League matches.
Not appearing to be massively generous odds, at least on the surface.
Although the last two home matches saw Newcastle score five goals in total against Cardiff and Manchester City.
Maybe a lot depending on what Miguel Almiron can bring to the party and how quickly he adapts.
Another positive is that Rafa Benitez says he expects a number of injured players to return for that Wolves game, as well as having Almiron and Barreca to choose from, plus Muto back from international duty.
One other plus factor is that of the remaining 13 matches, only two of them are against top six clubs (Liverpool home and Arsenal away).
(Scored 13 in 37 games for Atlanta last season)
4/6 Salomon Rondon to score 10 or more PL goals
(Has scored 6 so far, so needs at least 4 from the remaining 13 games)
5/2 Newcastle to gain 45 or more PL points
(Newcastle have 24 points from 25 games, so need another 21 points from a possible 39)
10/3 Newcastle to score 45 or more PL goals
(NUFC have scored 21 from 25, so need 24 from these last 13)
10/1 Ayoze Perez to score 10 or more PL goals
(Perez has scored 3 from the first 25 so needs another 7 from 13)
16/1 Salomon Rondon to score 15 or more PL goals
(Rondon has scored 6 from the first 25 so needs another 9 from the final 13)
