Achraf Lazaar is hoping for his first Sheffield Wednesday start on Saturday.
The Newcastle loan player having a very good game for the Owls’ Under 23s on Tuesday night as they beat Sheffield United 2-0 in a reserve side derby.

Achraf Lazaar speaking to official Wednesday site:
“I hope the Wednesday fans can see me soon…but I will just keep working hard and do my job.
“The team has great quality, the guys have good spirit to work hard.
“Every time you have the chance to go onto the pitch, even in training you have to do your work.
“You have to give it everything because a lot of people would want to be in my position but I am happy to have this chance with Sheffield Wednesday.
“I’m ready when the manager needs me, when he needs me I am here and ready to give everything for the team.
“Whether it’s in the first team, Under-23s or training I will give 100%.
“I am fit, I feel good and I want to keep getting better and better.
“I have to go step by step to be in the top level.
“The group is hard-working and we hope to have some big results.
“The manager has helped me a lot and I think I can learn a lot from him.
“I am going to give everything for the shirt because this club has given me the chance.”
