Premier League form table ahead of Newcastle v Manchester City
The Premier League form table ahead of Newcastle United taking on Manchester City.
Newcastle of course ending a run of five Premier League matches without a win when beating Cardiff last time out.
In the last 10 PL games, the only other victory was over Huddersfield.
These two clubs the only ones sitting below Rafa’s team when it comes this Premier League form table over the past six matches.
Manchester City are sitting rather low themselves, at least compared to normal, the shock defeats to Leicester and Palace leaving them ‘only’ fourth on recent form.
However, before anybody gets too excited/optimistic, they do seem to have bounced back quite well.
As well as winning their last four PL matches, Man City have scored 29 goals without reply in league and cup since beating Liverpool 2-1 on 3 January.
Here is the Premier League form table which covers the past six matches for all teams:

Man City 3 Wolves 0
Man City 2 Liverpool 1
Southampton 1 Man City 3
