Just a few people who aren’t to blame for the disgraceful running of Newcastle United

How do you solve a problem like Newcastle United?

With no clear path to success/sanity, it has been all too easy to look for somebody to blame.

If things aren’t changing for the better, who can you find to blame for the situation staying the same?

These are just a few of the people who are NOT to blame for what is happening at Newcastle United:

The 50,000 or so Newcastle fans who still regularly go to home matches.

The 500,000 or so (at a conservative estimate) Newcastle fans who don’t regularly go to home matches still.

Journalists who cover Newcastle United for national newspapers.

Journalists who cover Newcastle United for local newspapers.

Rafa Benitez and his coaching staff.

The Newcastle United playing squad.

Fans who organise protests.

Fans who don’t organise protests.

Fans who join in with protests.

Fans who don’t join in with protests.

Twitter trolls.

Normal staff who work for the tyrant to make a few quid to get by, whether selling tickets, merchandise, food and drink, or work as stewards etc.

People still buying white sports socks at Sports Direct.

People who don’t still buy white sports socks at Sports Direct.

Politicians.

Agents.

Players who have left NUFC.

Players who (allegedly) won’t join NUFC.

Mackems.

The bloke running the corner shop who likes to wind you up about Newcastle United.

Ant and Dec.

Amanda Staveley and Peter Kenyon.

The Mag.

The state of Newcastle United is due to the actions/inaction of only one person.

Mike Ashley is to blame, nobody else.
