Premier League form table looking worrying ahead of Watford v Newcastle

The Premier League form table ahead of Newcastle United taking on Watford.

It seems no time at all since Rafa’s team were up near the top in terms of their recent form, now though they only have the Premier League’s bottom three below them.

These clubs of course responsible for the fact that Newcastle are five points clear of relegation despite having only 17 points after 19 games.

The past six game form as seen below, shows Huddersfield with six straight defeats, Burnley with five defeats and one win, whilst Fulham have three losses and three draws, with no wins.

Ahead of this current Premier League form table, which are all played in December, Newcastle of course had three straight wins in November.

They kicked off with that 1-0 win over Watford before beating both Bournemouth and Burnley 2-1.

Watford have had mixed results in December, 12th in the form league and now 10th in the full Premier League table (see below).

Staring the month with defeats to Leicester and Man Utd but then a decent draw at Everton and wins over Cardiff and West Ham.

On Wednesday they were unlucky to lose 2-1 at home to Chelsea and it is ominous for Newcastle that the Hornets have made a habit of punishing the weaker sides at home.

No draws at home for Watford so far, winning against Palace, Tottenham, Brighton, Huddersfield and Cardiff, but losing to Man Utd, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Chelsea.

A tough game for Newcastle inside an even tougher overall schedule which lies ahead.

The current full Premier League table, then the form one over these last six games.
