Mike Ashley met by protesting Newcastle fans at Houses of Parliament – Photos
Mike Ashley turned up at the Houses of Parliament on Monday afternoon.
The Newcastle United owner appearing in front of a Select Committee of MPs, where he intended to tell them ‘how to save the high street’.
Otherwise known as, how he should be helped to make even more money whilst trampling over anybody who gets in his way.
What he didn’t expect to see were protesting Newcastle United fans.
The London Magpie Group having people outside waiting to greet him with banners.
Then also fans inside the building (the public are able to attend Select Committee hearings such as today’s) waiting so as they could go through security at the same time as Mike Ashley.
The NUFC owner refused to answer when asked if Rafa Benitez would be backed in January.
Ashley saying he was not there to talk about that.
Then when asked how much he wanted for NUFC he refused to answer and instead said “Don’t bother me no more.”

As you can see in the photos, Mike Ashley was less than impressed at being challenged about the Newcastle United issues.
