Exactly two weeks ago today, Mike Ashley appeared on Sky News.

The Newcastle United owner claiming that the sale of the club was imminent and could even be completed by the end of December.

At the same time positive reports circulated about the upcoming January transfer window.

Claims that Rafa Benitez will be backed and whoever is the owner, is set to smash the club’s  14 year old £16.8m transfer record, with £25m rated Miguel Almiron very likely to be the signing that does it.

We are now two weeks past that Mike Ashley interview and two weeks to go until that January window opens.

We are looking at a snapshot of opinion from Newcastle fans on what, if anything, they think will happen by the end of January?

These are the four options we are asking supporters to vote on….select just one.

NUFC transfer record broken but Mike Ashley doesn’t sell club by end of January

NUFC transfer record not broken but Mike Ashley sells club by end of January

NUFC transfer record not broken and Mike Ashley doesn’t sell club by end of January
