Martin Tyler has been answering questions about the Premier League.

Specifically, the respected commentator has been asked about the battle at the bottom of the table.

When it comes to Newcastle United, Martin Tyler declares ‘…he will find a way, as the last two results have shown.’

That pretty much sums up Newcastle United’s situation.

Rather than being able to point to a strong team or a striker that should get 15-20 goals, neutrals always pick out Rafa Benitez as the factor that could/should save Newcastle from relegation.

Whilst it is great to have such a respected manager these days, after having experienced Pardew, Carver and McClaren.

You do get the feeling that this just encourages Mike Ashley to push things even further in terms of blocking proper investment in the team.

The £20m+ profit in the summer transfer window telling us everything.

Martin Tyler doing a question and answer session for Sky Sports:

‘What’s your thoughts on the newly promoted clubs?’

“Wolves clearly have made an impressive start.

“I have been watching their games closely knowing that I will see them in the flesh for the first time this coming Sunday (Wolves home to Huddersfield).

“I saw Fulham recently at Huddersfield and they did not do themselves justice.

“We will have to wait and see how Claudio Ranieri can improve their fortunes.

“Cardiff City seem favourites to go down, but Neil Warnock will use that as a positive and if anyone can inspire a successful fight to stay up, he can.”

‘Do you think Newcastle United will stay up?’

“I am sure Newcastle will stay up.

“They have one of the most experienced managers in the business.

“I have been lucky enough to spend time in the past with Rafa Benitez and he will find a way, as the last two results have shown.”
