Huddersfield go from bottom to above Newcastle United – Premier League never been tighter at bottom
The Premier League is looking interesting, especially if you are a neutral.
A competitive handful at the top, a competing two or three at the very top, whilst at the bottom things couldn’t be tighter for so many teams.
It summed it up when on Sunday, Huddersfield have gone from rock bottom to fourteenth in the table!
The Terriers going to Wolves and being by far the better team, winning 2-0 and it could have easily been 4-0 or more
It also took them above Newcastle United and at the same time reminded us all of just how precarious NUFC’s position still is.
Newcastle are 15th but are at the top of a group of six clubs where only one point divides them.
That could all change on Monday night of course if Rafa’s team can beat Burnley
Huddersfield have actually replicated Newcastle’s recent mini-revival, David Wagner’s team picking up seven points in their last three games.
Every point is looking crucial at the moment and indeed goal difference at the moment has boosted Newcastle another two positions up the table..
