Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntrye were guests of BBC Sport this week.

The two WWE wrestlers giving their predictions for this weekend’s Premier League matches, up against Mark Lawrenson.

Dolph Ziggler is from Cleveland, Ohio and is a big LA Galaxy fan, whilst Drew McIntyre is a Rangers fan, from Ayr.

Asked to make their prediction for Newcastle v Bournemouth, they came up with a forecast of a 2-0 home win for the best of reasons…

Dolph Ziggler:

“Newcastle…I have had their beer.

“Does Bournemouth have a beer or a drink?”

Drew McIntyre:

“Bournemouth bevy…?”

Dolph Ziggler:

“Newcastle up, 2-0.

Newcastle, we will crack one open afterwards to celebrate.”

Newcastle Brown Ale has of course proved to be a very popular export to the United States and won NUFC some extra fans.

As for predictions, Mark Lawrenson has also predicted a 2-0 victory for Newcastle United.

What could possibly go wrong…

Drew McIntyre:

“My family supports Rangers and Celtic and, when you are a baby, they leave out the two tops and you crawl towards one of them.

“I believe I crawled to the Rangers top when I was a kid.

“Gerrard played with his heart, which is something we were missing.

“He is drilling it into his team and we are on the rise. In the next couple of seasons I think we are going to be right back in it, competing with Celtic.

“It would be sweet to win something this season but I am being realistic – and it is amazing that we are back where we are right now.”
