Watford have announced that they have reached an agreement with Newcastle United on ticket prices.

When the Hornets visit St James Park on Saturday 3 November, the travelling fans will pay £25 for adults.

Then when Newcastle are away at Watford in December (29th), the visiting fans will pay the same.

At the moment, there is a Premier League-wide agreement that away fans pay no more than £30, the clubs shamed into the move in light of the ever growing riches they bank.

So a fiver saved and of course, every little helps.

Mike Ashley will be desperate to see as many extra bums on seats as possible in the next few weeks.

Newcastle still haven’t sold out any home match so far this season, despite attractive opposition and all four clubs selling 3,000+ tickets.

Three of the next four games are home to Brighton, Watford and Bournemouth, with a surprise if any of them bring any more than a thousand fans.

Every chance we could see three home games in a row with gates of below fifty thousand, the reality being that season ticket sales were significantly down this summer and thousands of Newcastle fans are already staying away because of Mike Ashley’s running of the club.

Watford Official Announcement:

Watford FC are pleased to announce that a reciprocal ticket pricing arrangement to benefit both sets of supporters has been agreed with Newcastle United.

The Hornets and the Magpies have worked together to further reduce ticket prices, with supporters of both clubs already benefitting from reductions as a result of the away ticket price cap, which was introduced at the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

Every Premier League meeting between the two clubs since Watford’s promotion in 2015 has had a reciprocal pricing deal in place, in order to benefit both sets of fans.

Watford fans travelling to St James’ Park on Saturday November 3 will pay the following ticket prices:

Adult £25

Junior (Under-18) £11

Senior (65 & Over) / full-time student £17

Wheelchair & Ambulant Disabled Prices:

Adult £12.50

Junior (Under-18) £5.50

Senior (65 & Over) / full-time student £8.50

All above prices include a free personal assistant where required

In turn, Magpies fans making the return journey on Saturday December 29 will pay the same prices.

First of all where do you get season tickets significantly down quote from the Dean Wilkins and Chris Holt training school. While they said thousands of season tickets are still unsold which is true just over four thousand. What they forgot to tell you is that every season there are four thousand left as it’s capped at that to go on general sale for each game. Not very bright if you ask me saying that season tickets sold out last season which they did ( as four thousand are kept back) then forgetting to take the four thousand of this years season tickets left. As for the next three games for the Brighton game on Saturday we have a staggering 200 single seats left in the normal part of the ground so that boycott is really hurting the club.
For the Next three games Brighton no seats left for the East Stand and for Watford and Bournemouth only 80 and 77 respectively. Amazing support.
Average attendance so far this season has been an incredible 51, 807 with the only seats not bought single family enclosure seats 250 each game and a few Platinum seats at £55.00 to £65.00 per game. Thank you for your support.

    • East Durham Mag

      🤪 Ashley arris licker.

      • Paul Patterson

Clearly works for the club or a troll . .

        • Themoscow72

Or supports the club is a possibility. Five hundred and twenty two away loyalty points will give a bit of a clue.

          • Paul Patterson

Well if you’re happy with the way the club is being ran to deliberately not compete then crack on, enjoy the rest of your ‘loyalty’ points.

          • JohnnyH

522 hoop licking points. 600 should get you a nice Lonsdale hoody.

        • Big Hairy Man

          Or both

        • Kneebotherm8

Obviously works in the clubs ticket office…

          • Wezza

I thought he was a KBA troll but he slipped up AGAIN!
Claimed monkseaton was banned by the Mag (along with all the other aliases Fleckman, Clarkos old one, and more. He also once again shared his dislike for Jezza which confirms he is indeed one of the sad Lee family maure trolls. I think this is the senile father, Brian Lee. Probably rings up the ticket office daily but you can bet he is lying. He has been caught out before.

          • Kneebotherm8

Mugpie and Moscow………..one and the same…….absolutely no doubt about that

          • Themoscow72

He cannot afford to ring up the ticket office his last bill was £150.00 as Virgin have started to charge for 0844 nos.
Yes it was Brian Standen you told me that Monkseaton had been banned such a shame as he was good fun.

          • Wezza

You just claimed I don’t go to your local but you still claim to be a different person than monkseatonmagpies. Righto. Yet again you slip up. I’ve already reported for you to be banned once again.

          • Pezza

Have you ever heard of the expression, “read between the lines”. Perhaps you should try this?

Why would you want to ban someone? Thomas, as Monkseaton was, has not been rude or insulting. It appears to me that he’s just tried to educate. Can you not handle his debate?

If he is Monkseaton as you ludicrously claim, don’t you think that he will just post under a new name if you get him banned again?

We are unable to post your comment because you have been banned by The Mag. Find out more.

          • Pezza

It was a shame that think monkseaton was banned, he was a bright lad, I think he will come back though. I converse with Ben Jones on twitter, he was banned too but can’t be bothered to take up a new name.

I wonder why the Mag banned the witty and intelligent ones?

Both i reckon Paul, his sh*te is becoming monotonous.

          • Themoscow72

It’s the protests and anti Ashley stuff which is becoming boring it’s nearly every article.

    • toonterrier

      Obviously Charnleys sister.

    • JohnnyH

      You’re not getting my support.
I’ll be back when Ashley’s gone. Hope you go with him.

      • Themoscow72

I signed on for life mate so going nowhere will get my 523rd loyalty point at ten this morning when I buy my Burnley ticket.

        • Wezza

That “Monkseaton chap” used to brag about his loyalty points too. Funny that.

      • Kneebotherm8

        And stays away…

    • Westdentoon

Why did you change your name? Did you get a discus ban or something?

I thought Monkseaton Magpie was a great name 👍

      • Themoscow72

That Monkseaton chap got banned by the Mag not Discus which was a shame. Funny enough he has been banned by the club twice under Ashley(other times before that) even though he sticks up for them. Got him down as a hot head a bit like the old West Denton Wild Bunch five of whom used to wear black and white kilts and doctor martins.

        • Westdentoon

Says a lot about Ashley doesn’t it?

Maybe time to stop defending him..

        • Wezza

          Hah! “That Monkseaton chap”
It is funny because that “monkseaton chap” talks A LOT like you. In fact he talks EXACTLY like you.
If indeed that “Monkseaton chap” got banned by The Mag then I think I will report your new alias as well.
          Adios!

    • GToon

Why is the support “incredible “? Because of what the fans are paying to watch? Most of them are probably turning up thinking “right this has got to be the game Ashley takes a tumble and falls down the steps”.

  • Leazes.

    Don’t buy for Wolves…. boycott!

  • Leazes.

    Don’t buy for Wolves…. boycott!

I see ‘Crooked Johnny’ is making his gob go again…

…..’Ashley has fallen out of love with the club’…. get away!

How long did it take to work that one out?….. when you sold our club to a Chelsea supporting asset stripping spiv!…..

…..Was it when he changed the name of the Sir John Hall stand?

Why didn’t you do due diligence when selling to this Bustard!

    • wheyayeman

      Preach!

    • Themoscow72

Wolves tickets on sale Monday 29th October all season ticket holders and members bring your mates along and break the boycott.

  • GToon

I wonder if we can come to some kind of agreement over the points too.
