Rafa will continue to get every penny the club generates….

Ger away man we’ve heard it all before, a claim Gray, Wise, Keys and even Shola might try to defend, how much does any half wit think Rafa or the club gets from shirt sales (if you want an educated guess, ask a Rangers fan)?

How much does Rafa or the club get from the advertising of S….. D…..? Every penny, aye every penny after I’ve had me pound first.

And to be fair to Mike “every penny the club makes” is not a false statement on season tickets, pints at the ground, pies etc. The club makes the pies, pours the pints and sells the season tickets, the club does not make or sell the shirts, socks and NUFC baby grows, Mike’s baby (S….. D…..) does.

The published annual accounts tell us very little, as they report pretty much only what our fat greedy overlord wants us to hear, and that’s fine.

Spin the media as much as you want and 10% of the Geordies might believe you (that’s the delusional percentage) and 30% of the general public believe also. But here is my beef, to suggest you can take legal action over editors of national newspapers for headlines “Mike Ashley shows two fingers” is akin to Hitler and downfall.

You showed two fingers Mike, it’s on camera, it’s clear, at least let your PR people say you have finger Tourettes, or that you were trying to itch bits of your fat face at the same time, but to outright deny the indefensible...you’ve changed the tide Mike.

If you had anyone or any defence left, now it’s gone, it’s over Mike, and when Rafa leaves and we go down…

My fear is that you have already, or that you may push too far and if you have, or if you do…

Fanatical people do strange things that cannot be condoned, and if you push the buttons of fanatical people over and over again, you increase the risk of a fanatical act against yourself taking place.

If you take a stick and poke a dog in the bollocks over and over again, even the nicest dog will turn around and bite you, at the moment Mike you’ve only heard Geordies roar.

I don’t think anyone can now believe your PR nonsense and defending the indefensible will only stoke the flames further. The game is up Mike and I hope the gloves don’t come off.

ten and a half seasons too late- do one Fat Mike- we don’t need you!!

  • Paul Patterson

In the last week, we’ve had him tear down two legends banners and stick two fingers up at fans (despite the PR defence). It’s deliberate and designed to p**s the fans off.

I’m sure even his own PR people don’t believe a word they put out. They probably also tell him ‘Mike, I know we’re here to be your PR defence, but you’re making it really difficult for us’.

The man is actually turning certifiably stupid . .

    • Carverlier football

Being Ashley’s PR must be the happiest job in the world – well, you’d be laughing all day anyway…

      • Sickandtired

They were specially trained by Kim Jong Un’s media department…

        • Carverlier football

I was thinking the ludicrous denials reminded me more of Russia…

          • Sickandtired

            Clearly, equally as incompetent!

    • Sickandtired

And after weeks of nonsense stories and fake PR news, he allegedly tells the players that he’s NOT selling any time soon.

  • Paul Cannell

He wasn’t giving Newcastle fans the V sign. Someone just asked him how many 18 inch pizza’s he just ate.

  • Lostprofit DBC

I don’t think he regrets his actions one little bit. It’s all publicity, good or bad. The man has the skin of a rhino and gets a massive kick out of winding the fans up. Just another week in the life of Mike Ashley.

    • Carverlier football

I agree he doesn’t regret his actions, but I think he actually has very thin skin – and a belly full of spite with a taste for retribution. He’s probably quite an unhappy individual deep down. Not that I have any sympathy for him…

  • Pezza

Nothing has changed, the only significant thing is the Kenyon rumours.

Imagine if the magpie group were like the original magpie group. Those who really wanted change, not just a publicity seeking bunch

    • Toon Arnie

Ashley still wouldn’t sell – he has no intention of doing so. This court proven liar only fools a very small number of people with these PR stunts these days. This is just to try and deflect the media from Keenan’s book, the same as the £5.95 pizza night. Come on, you know this really ?

      • Pezza

        He will sell over £156m

    • cmrowley

      debt..

      • Pezza

Which will need financed either by those who buy the club or externally

        • cmrowley

hmmmm, we’ve been through this before Bobbi

          What shares?
          What debt?

The ‘debt’ you refer to is nothing but a column on a spreadsheet for tax purposes.
There is no real debt, just as there are no shares.

          • Pezza

Like all companies, the club suites shares, the shareholders own a slice of the business based on the shares they own.

Debt is the additional money introduced into the club by the debt holder, in this casr, MA and companies owned by MA.

Whilst I’ve passed all my accountancy exams, I’m not a tax specialist so I’d love to know how the set up is tax efficient, I’m all for that. Care to explain?

That said, I’m not sure of your point. There are obviously shares and obviously debt.

  • Cockneytrev

The only time it will hit home to him, is when he is either assaulted or ends up in prison,,,,
Firstly, he’s extremely wealthy, therefore cushioned to the normal behaviour in life,
Secondly, his wealth surrounds him with hoop lickers, who hang on his every word and the majority will be frightened of what his wealth can do.
He needs to be taken to task , but the media is obviously in his pocket, this makes it so much more difficult for the fans to protest , when it’s not being reported properly.

    • Sickandtired

The Chron never even bothered to show up. Such is the professional determination of Douglas, Ryder and Co

  • Mike

where are the cashley lovers now? keep up the pressure

    • Pezza

Not sure about Ashley lovers, there were a few of pretty intelligent posters on here that provided balance but I think they were victims of a dtrategy of suppressing individual expression.

      • Tweed Mag

Read Goeorge Caulkin’s latest article in the Times. That will give you some perspective and perhaps stop you feeling sorry for yourself.

        • Pezza

I’ve read it, it says nothing of note whatsoever. Caulkin was the voice of Stavely’s group, I note he didn’t really do much about Kenyon.

          • Tweed Mag

Ah well, you are a lost cause then. Good luck.

          • Pezza

            What was new in thepiece?

          • Tweed Mag

You and the other apologists deny the obvious and dig deeper holes for yourselves. It is a shame.

          • Pezza

Can you copy and paste it in here?

Intelligent ?!!! They were responsible for some of the most blinkered / badly informed posts ever made on this website. Anyway, changing their names doesn’t mean they’ve gone away Ghostrider… sorry I mean Pezza.

          Call me Bob

          • Toon Arnie

The trolls ( 2 or 3 with numerous identities that fooled nobody ) tended to cherry pick parts of stories and ignore facts or refuse to answer direct questions while always coming down in favour of Ashley. Hardly deserving of being referred to as intelligent.Thankfully people either got bored with them or ripped them to shreds during debates. Referring to Leazes as a liar after he systematically dismantled some of the awful points, and outright lies, put across by the trolls is laced with irony and made me chuckle to myself a bit. At least you’ve done something right today Ghostrider.

          • Pezza

Well, I only ever had one going at one time, I’ve had to change because the policy of the independent voice

  • Christopher Edwards

I would never condone violence, and the West Ham supporters were vilified for what happened last season when they were throwing coins at the directors, one of which hit one of them in the eye. To me, the West Ham owners had done nowhere near as badly as Mike Ashley but it seemed to motivate them to spend some money and keep the supporters happy. As I said, I wouldn’t want to see it in the stadium but perhaps if someone ran into him and gave him a good kicking he might become a more motivated seller.

    • Leazes.

Ashley and Bishops little band of media people have been ducking for cover in the last couple of weeks….. they have to be targeted…..with argument!

  • Leazes.

    Good sentiments!

Someone said that yesterday that ‘all publicity is good’…. its just not true!…. its enormously damaging to him….. that phrase came from the world of celebrity where fading stars would create media events to put themselves back into the picture, with the printed media usually. today they have ‘celebrity’ quiz shows and reality programs to humiliate them as they reach a make or break point of return.

People also keep repeating that his motivation is greed…. that’s not true either!…his motivation for the damage he does, has always been malice and damage to the club he owns, to take away just enough to make it struggle…. he really hates the fans, the club, the city.

He took the players to a cheap pizza house to reinforce the skinflint notion in my view he plays on United’s fans notion of the ‘Greedy Capitalist Businessman’…..

…..because to some people that makes sense! How many times have fans said of his downsizing operation ‘
…..”ah well he’s a businessman’ that’s why he does it”…. thats certainly the excuse you get from the journalists at the chronicle…. that level of understanding that is repeated by Shola Ameobi, and some of the journalists in London. Helps him no end.

What is Ashley’s aim then, as he has damaged the club to the brink of existence?

Its simply to keep it going…

….No sale was ever on the cards (he put into place a pull out caveat)…you wont hear from Kenyon again, because that ploy has proved a disaster in galvanising the war against him!

Two bits of horrendous PR which have backfired spectacularly!

    • Sickandtired

Indeed. And for such a public showing, where were the ‘journalists’ of the Chron?

      • Leazes.

The chronicle supplied photographers and ran a live blog on a ‘bonding session’…. doing Bishops bidding!

Douglas and Ryder are no friends of this club!

  • Tweed Mag

It is one problem after another for Ashley at the moment, NUFC is just a part it. He has Workhouse of Fraser to sort out, his 30% share in Debenhams looks fragile, SD shares are in free-fall, any attempt at positive PR falls flat, Jimenez court case, pundits criticising him at last and so on. His pizza night has turned out to be a disaster and all the issues raised by KK and the Magpie Group are justified as a result. So yes, the tide is turning.

    • Leazes.

      Workhouse of Fraser!

      • Pezza

Not sure the staff would agree, given he’s kept their jobs going.

        • Tweed Mag

          Sense of humour failure?

          • Pezza

Yes I got it first time

        • Toon Arnie

He’s already started removing people hasn’t he alongside upsetting 1000’s of customers by making promises ( gift cards ) and then breaking them….does this sound familiar ?

          • Pezza

            HoF went into administration

          • Toon Arnie

…. and your point is ??

          • Pezza

            I’ve edited to explain more

          • Toon Arnie

            Got it.

          • Toon Arnie

Customers were told to post their gift vouchers to a nominated address and they would be reimbursed. Weeks later nothing , all attempts at communication by irate customers ignored…. it all sounds so familiar ….

        • Billmag

What about the people he has already got rid of, and what about those stores that’s in the grip (so your leader says) of greedy (ha ha) landlords, so much for saving thousands of people’s jobs.

          • Pezza

I understand all still ez a getting a year to prove themselves

          • Pezza

            That is going to happen

        • Viru leckworth

Shouldn’t your soubriquet be pizza not Pezza?

          • Pezza

No, it was chosen as being half way between the great minds of Jezza and Wezza

        • FatParosite

He’s bought it to steal the pensions you to$$er…

    • Pezza

The magpie group haven’t raised issues, just hot air.

      • Tweed Mag

        Yawn.

      • BanJones

Their soul purpose is galvanising support around the issue of getting rid of the fat liar, you must be a bit thick. Where’s the money gone?

        • Pezza

It may be, but how do you get rid of him? There are two ways but they

  • Sickandtired

Having starved the club yet again – he now cries out that it’s us who are undermining the club! Nah, we just see through his BS.

A (very) cheap Italians and the promise of a holiday will not make up for 11 years of purposeful neglect.

  • graham18

Just had to laugh when the FCB promised to the squad a free holiday if they don’t get relegated. He will tell them and anybody a load [email protected] just to smooth things over. He”s a liar,a rogue and a complete pr*ck.The tide is slowly turning but we have to patient and keep targetting S.D.

    • Toon Arnie

I can’t see how a 1 week room only holiday in Cleethorpes is supposed to be such an incentive to millionaire footballers who are already trying their best but, with a few exceptions, are not quite good enough to survive in the Premier League.

      • graham18

Well they will just have to go to Crimdon Dene caravan site instead just in case Cleethorpes are fully booked.

        • Viru leckworth

Or Cullercoats bay. Wait a minute that’s a bit too nice.

  • dannymc21

Not sure why he’s making promises to the players. They’ll get a holiday if they avoid relegation!
I’m guessing they’d rather have 2 or 3 quality teammates to give them a better chance of avoiding relegation, not a lads trip to wherever.
I think they’re doing they’re best, and if we get relegated I’m sure they’ll be ok and could probably still pay for their own holidays.
Disrespecting the fans, again, just shows that not only is he badly advised, he has no class and frankly doesn’t have a clue how to run a football club.
In some ways I wish we’d do a Mackems, sink a couple of divisions, and then be sold for peanuts, costing the FCB as many millions as possible.
Ideally, someone come and buy the club, the fans deserve rid of this parasite and the goodwill generated by a respectful owner would generate millions for them.

    • Viru leckworth

The so called gesture of promising the players a holiday if they avoid relegation just shows his oily mentality. He is treating professional footballers like his Sump Dump employees. Work harder reach your targets and get a 50p rise at Christmas. He may as well offered them a pizza.

    • graham18

      100 per cent correct.

Instead of spending £2.5k on a night out in Ponteland why not spend £25m on a decent striker ? Oh wait he’s a cheapskate…….(A Cheap Skate is someone who values money over people. They hate to spend money and are always looking for a deal or to screw someone out of money.)
