I gave the whole defence 4, why ? because they let a dwarf head in the winner.

    • Billmag

      Bit harsh.

      • Kenny

You cannot makes schoolboy errors in this league, both Martial & Sanchez had room in the box, where was the marking.
cost us a point on 90 minutes.

        • Billmag

Fair enough I meant a bit harsh on dwarfs.😀😀

Agreed, likewise the failure to track back especially in the second half continues to cost us. Yes I know Ritchie is extremely popular but watch his reaction for the second goal. Martial plays the ball and just runs past Matt. His reaction? NOTHING, He makes zero attempt to go with him or even block the run

          • Jimmy_toons

Agree, Man Us 2nd & 3rd goals were in part due to lapses in concentration and, lack of awareness and concentration from Yedlin and Ritchie. Ball watching and lack of challenge on the cross. If you challenge for a header, you can do enough so that your opponent is put off. Not challenging invites trouble. As does missing chances.

          • Billo

There was a number of Toon players as you say make Zero attempts to tackle or cover just watch Ayoze Perez trots and i mean Trots he never never gets near to a opponent to make 50-50 Tackle or even put any under pressure in fact i cannot record the last time he did that !! Passenger we can do without

Can we rate them for the first half and then the second please? The results would be vastly different . .

    • Kenny

I said in another post, we have a 45 min team, a 90min one costs another

  • WrongToon

Can someone please lead Mo to an open field and release him back to the wild? At least a donkey aimlessly ambling around won’t look so out of place there.

    • lupa

Thought he did well 1st half, looked knackered from then on

  • Foggy

Benitez deserved to lose just by the fact he lets Atsu anywhere near the pitch. As big a waste of 6 million as I’ve ever seen.

Can diame really be as dumb as some of the decisions he makes on the field? I wonder if he can read and write?
