Leicester fans are looking forward to their visit to Newcastle.

A big bonus is that it is a 3pm Saturday afternoon kick-off, with many of the travelling supporters appreciating our city centre location, friendliness and loads of good pubs!

Some fear their propensity to concede goals with 10 leaked already in only six games despite having won three of those matches.

However, the majority do appear to see Newcastle United as a failing team at the moment and that an away win is there for the taking.

As if Newcastle fans didn’t have enough to deal with, you have Leicester fans calling for a win on behalf of House of Fraser staff and customers…whilst others think that Newcastle supporters should be grateful to Mike Ashley.

Hope they have a lovely time in our great City but leave with no points.

Leicester fans commenting via their top Foxes Talk message board:

‘On behalf of all shafted House of Fraser customers and staff, I’d like to see Newcastle stuffed convincingly.’

‘Think if we get an early goal it will destroy their confidence and will have to try and play a bit. Score first 10 mins can see a 4-0 win if not will go with s 2-1 scrape 80 odd min winner.’

‘Look I don’t know..I am too far away from the situation..but without Ashley jumping in, and staying..

Where would Newcastle be now….he kept it ticking over….and nobody else is dying to take them over!!!!’

‘Away at Newcastle? I know they’re in a bit of turmoil but away at St James’ is never an easy fixture.’

‘I agree. But they are sh..e at the moment.’

‘I remember us beating Newcastle at home in the 90s and it was regarded as a famous victory.

Now we are probably favourites to make it 3 wins in a row at St James’ Park.

How times changes.’

‘Away in the prem, we gotta be happy if we can get a point.

Newcastle must be thinking a point is the least they’ll get and a win a good possibility.

Let’s not build ourselves up too much – we are not Liverpool.’

‘I can see Vardy bagging a brace in a 3-0 win.’

‘A game we should be winning and winning comfortably.’

‘Newcastle are there to be had, Benitez looks tired and stressed more than ever before. I will be disappointed with an inconsistent defeat tomorrow and lets hope that we at least come away with a point to show.

Come on Lestah!!!!’

Dummett and Fernandez now ruled out apparently with hamstring injuries .

Fernandez was outstanding against Palace last week and now leaves them really weak in defence.’

‘Positive play with some solid defending please. A clean sheet would be a huge shot in the arm for the teams confidence.’

‘Apparently Southgate will be at Newcastle to watch Maddison.!!

Maddison to have a blinder …. 2 goals & two assists.’

‘Definitely fancy this one.

Newcastle, Saturday 3pm and not in the middle of winter like the last few visits? Should be popular.’

‘Hotel booked July.

Dinner at Luigi khans sorted for the Saturday and may well end up there on the Friday as well. Top curry house.

The 3pm Saturday is a bonus.’

‘Really looking forward to this one, haven’t been to Newcastle before. Best boozers for away fans near the ground?’

‘Take your pick, loads and loads of great places to booze.

Always found it a really friendly place.’

‘Duke of Wellington was a good little find last year. Basically anywhere round the Bigg Market area is friendly if you’re not a complete tw.t.

City Vaults is, er, different, but very cheap pints and worth it if you’ve never been up there before. Good insight into the Geordie matchday culture!’

‘Loads of places, we head straight over the road from the station (Victoria Comet), and then the walk upto the ground is Aspers Casino is good also, Sharks at the Sandman, right by the ground  is OK.’
