The Newcastle team v Leicester has just been confirmed.

Rafa Benitez looking to get his first victory of the season.

A win at Leicester in April but Newcastle have lost the last two at home, conceding three both times.

This is who Rafa Benitez starts with:

Dubravka, Yedlin, Lascelles, Clark, Kenedy, Ritchie, Shelvey, Diame, Atsu, Perez, Joselu

and the Subs:

Darlow, Muto, Manquillo, Schar, Hayden, Murphy, Longstaff

The media claims  of injuries to Dummett and Fernandez proved correct.

No Manquillo, so it looks like an outing at left-back for Kenedy.

Compare Rafa’ selection to the preferred fan option HERE

Under Rafa, Newcastle’s biggest signing has been £12m for Matt Ritchie.

In that same time period, Leicester have signed these 14 players all for higher transfer fees than Ritchie.

It’s a mis-match today!

£27m Islam Slimani

£25m Kelechi Iheanacho

£22m Adrien Silva

£22m James Maddison

£20m Ricardo Pereira

£19m Caglar Soyuncu

£18m Ahmed Musa

£16m Wilfred Ndidi

£14m Papy Mendy

£14m Vicente Iborra

£13m Harry Maguire

£13m Filip Benkovic

  • Dillon Tovak

Those attacking options we have on the bench are enough to give any defender sleepless nights 😆

    • Kenny

that bench would bring laughs of derision in the championship

      • Ram Kishore

Not really, only in the premiership maybe.. those were the players that helped us finish 10th.. short memories u have ken

        • Kenny

None of those players on the bench got us to 10th
2 were not here & 1 was on loan,
bad memory you have there Ram

          • Ram Kishore

Murphy was there for the Chelsea win if I remember right?

          • Kenny

            😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 nice try Ram

          • Ram Kishore

Haha.. yep for sure our players do lack that extra bit of quality..
They are good and hardworking but the opponents are better or better than better..
I had always said Atsu could do well in the left wing.. he did today.. Murphy needs to be played more or needs to start to be or become better.
Atsu would have been not good today had Dummet played. Dummet doesn’t provide support going forward. Atsu looked to put in good crosses with support from Kennedy.
            Diame was good.
Joselu isn’t really good but Rondon would have looked poor if we don’t create enough chances.
Look at Leicester creating enough chances, corners hoping one goal would go in.
            First goal was unfortunate though

          • Ram Kishore

            My amateurish analysis 😁.
            Atleast the game wasnt boring…

          • Ram Kishore

            Enjoy the match pal

  • mentalman

Starting the game with 9 players, its going to be a hard afternoon

    • Leicester Mag

Looking at who the 9 are, Diame has reverted to type, Kennedy can’t be r$ed. A CF who has 2 left feet and a hapless winger.

      • mentalman

I was talking about atsu and perez but you are right, i should have said starting with 5

  • Kenny

As i said yesterday, WTF did Nufc pay £9m for a striker that never plays,
not forgetting the £10m for a winger that never plays

    • panther

Part of the catologue of deceit, bought them as development as he fell for Ashley’s lies

      • Rev

Right .. because we knew we would have plenty of cover while they developed. Give over!

  • Rev

Another 20% possession, pray they dont score because we wont and hope the captain doesnt pick up a knock then. Nice work getting rid of the strikers and CB and replacing them with players you obviously dont think are good enough. World class manager my …

    • Billmag

Can you not wait till after the game before you criticize, good grief man people like you are beat before a [email protected]@@@@g ball is kicked.

      • Rev

Please God prove me wrong, i just think our tactics are killing us and since we cant change the players thanks to the Owner, maybe Plan B, score more than they do would get the crowd onside and the team. Plan A isnt working and its only the fact that the Owner is considered more atrocious than Plan A thats keeping everyone onside

        • Billmag

          Fair enough.

  • panther

Still waiting to see Atsu break into a jog

    • Dillon Tovak

      Good luck with that.

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

get your head out of your A$$ today Kenedy

  • Toon

    First 11 – sh*te, subs – sh*te

    • Rev

Tactics probably sh*te …. which is why

  • Leicester Mag

Wife a Leicester fan just saw our team and laughed says it all.

    • Rev

Hoss to score … can we keep a clean sheet though

      • Leicester Mag

Don’t know if with a name like that you are a man of god but you’ve some faith!!

        • Rev

Actually the opposite, i just cant see anyone else scoring. Simply the fact that he will be the furthest (only) man forward unless its the captain from a corner. Says it all really… meanwhile they have Vardy.

  • Foggy

If Atsu continues to run up his own ar$e, I am waiting for the time he goes Poof!! And just disappears. Hopefully, nobody will bother looking for him.

  • Kenny

It`s a funny old game, well it will be if we win. 😂😂

  • Wezza

    Mike Ashley in attendance apparently

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

Yedlin, yet again, looking like our biggest threat going forward. woof.

  • Ashley-out

    fatcunt at St James

  • foggy

    Perez strolling around like Bambi

    • Kenny

He is Bambi, weak as water

  • Kenny

Hoss once again useless, why oh why does this guy get a shirt

    • glassjawsh-got-banned

      because Rondon is hurt

      • Kenny

£9m striker on the bench !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wezza

65% possesion to Leicester and havent heard an anti ashley chant yet, shocking.
    EDIT: They’ve started now!

  • Tino o

We’re not going to get many chances missed two invitations shocking!!!

  • Wezza

Stand up if you hate ashley chants, love it, evryones standing and MA smirked. Horrible scum.

  • Dillon Tovak

The fact Ashley was smiling during the stand up if you hate Ashley chants is all the proof those apologists need that he doesn’t care in any way shape or form.

    • Wezza

The main reason why the apologists have all but disappeared. You cannot defend the indefensible.

      • glassjawsh-got-banned

people still deny the holocaust ever happened. some people’s cognitive dissonance know no limits.

    • Ron

      Was Rafa standing?

  • Wezza

    Penalty Leicester.

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

    well that’s game over

    • Wezza

Now I hope it gets toxic. Ramp up the pressure!!!

  • Leicester Mag

That’s 30 mins huff and puff ended.

  • foggy

    0 – 1 Vardy

  • Wezza

I used to let this bother me now I have expected it.

  • Kenny

Need to hook Perez & Hoss in the second half

  • Wezza

Tame we want ashley out chants.

  • Hopey

Wonder if Ashley will stay until the end, may be a repeat of West Ham last year

    • Wezza

Well the fans today are barely joining in the anti ashley chants so think they are just going to sit there and take it.

      • glassjawsh-got-banned

the sort of fan who would spend all game long singing anti-ashley chants is also the sort of fan who has most likely stopped attending

        • Wezza

          Yep spot on.

        • Hopey

Anybody still paying to support that football on show may as well burn their well earned money

      • Hopey

If I was sat near the fat c*nt I would let my feelings known

  • Tino o

Shelvey for England?? Hes doing himself no favours so far today!

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

climbed all the way up to 38% possession. joy.

    half time 0-1.
No real positives lack lustre all over the park. Ritchie pick of a sorry bunch thus far.

  • mentalman

MA is here to sack rafa

    • Kenny

      to greedy to sack him

      • mentalman

It depends if the clauses in the contract exist.

We are going down with rafa in charge so he’ll be happy going down with a patsy getting a quarter of the salary

  • Kenny

The Rat laughing his head off at the fans & they have no balls at all

  • Ashley-out

someone sneezed & Perez went down shouting for a pen

      Unbelievable substitution

    • Wezza

Fans didnt like that either, Ritchie was shocking first half

  • foggy

Madison takes a dive gets a free kick just outside the box. How come refs always fall for it. Same last week at Palace.

This has been the worst league performance of the season sofar.

  • Clarko

“Rafa is the best, he can do no wrong”

  • Mrkgw

Ashley, Charnley and RAFA out. This is abysmal.

  • Tino o

    Clarke pss poor

    • Ashley-out

      they are all pss poor

      • Tino o

I’m not sure they’re even that good

  • DC1964

    4 straight home game defeats!

    • Mrkgw

For which most would face the chop.

      • DC1964

Yes, I have a feeling that might actually happen!

        • Mrkgw

Think you are right. A new approach is needed desperately. Ashley must go but Rafa hasn’t helped himself with hapless tactics.

          • Wezza

Yes but its the only tactics we can play

          • Mrkgw

Players look as though they lack confidence. Managers job to instil belief and Rafa is by all accounts not the best in terms of a warm approach towards his team. His way or, no way.

          • GlasgowMag

So who is your replacement then to manage a bunch of discounted relegation fodder!!!

          • Mrkgw

            Mourinho.

          • GlasgowMag

            Ye good one 😂😂🤣🤣

          • Mrkgw

            👍

          • Damon Horner

In seriousness though, do you see a manager who you feel can ignite this side or is it just a case of rolling the dice and hope for double six?

          • Mrkgw

Roll the dice Damon. The club are in absolute turmoil. A complete shambles.

          • Damon Horner

Fair enough, reading the situation though you perhaps feel comfortable with Allardyce being next manager or following the path of Sunderland. I don’t see life after Rafa being any better. The club will still be in “turmoil” and a “shambles”. The man who is making it that way will still be in situ.

          • Mrkgw

Not Allardyce though, his record at saving clubs is proven. But his style of football is as awful to watch as we see at the moment. I genuinely don’t know who I”d go for – Brendan Rodgers maybe, or Sean Dyche. But, would either want to come to the shambles that is Newcastle United? Probably not.

          • Damon Horner

I honestly think if Rafa doesn’t last the season then Allardyce will be given the job again, scares too many people!

I can see Rodgers as a possibility but seems more natural to be at the end of season, I can see Rodgers leaving Celtic regardless and we know all about Rafa and the expected vacancy here.

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

Rafa’s negative tactics are a symptom, not a cause

          • Mrkgw

            Maybe.

          • Leicester Mag

When you have a CF who shouldn’t be anywhere near a championship side what the hades chance is there? As for the transfers wtf

          • Tomb

Keep Gayle and Mitro over Joselu?

          • MrShack66

            They are both.

          • Tomb

He employed negative tactics at Madrid and Inter too. Thats his style of play and to be fair for most of his career its worked

      • glassjawsh-got-banned

and through which LITERALLY ANYONE leading this shambles of a side would suffer. Rafa, Pep, Klopp it wouldn’t matter….

        • Wezza

I had a thought earlier that just what if…. WHAT IF… MA sacked Rafa… 6Million is nothing to him he MIGHT do it just to really annoy us all.

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

the same guy who haggles over 2 or 3 million won’t pony up 6 when he doesn’t have to

          • Mrkgw

Problem is, I’d he happy to see change. It”s needed.

          • Wezza

Even if there was a change the new manager would have the same problems. We know the problem and it is smirking at us all.

          • Leazes.

That’s because you are short term in rationale.

          • Mrkgw

No Leazes, it’s because of the fact that I feel that Benitez has lost the dressing room, has run out of ideas. Granted, his hands are tied in terms of funding.

          • Leazes.

I was thinking the same…. It would take away the figurehead of ze resistance movement….and give him a huge kick.

        • Mrkgw

Maybe. But, Rafa hasn’t got time on his side.

  • Leicester Mag

Nothing but a trukinshambles every aspect of the club is rotten. Meanwhile Ashley smirks and yet still fans take it.

  • Hopey

The rot has set in deep now, down by Xmas they can all do one

    • nufcslf

Been there for 11 of the 12 seasons the fat c**t has been around.

  • MrShack66

    Cattled.

  • robbersdog

We’ve had 24 seasons in the Premier League in its 27 season lifespan; this is the worst squad we’ve had in any of those seasons. It’s awful – not fit for purpose.

Unless there is some serious investment in new players in January, we’re f*cked.

    • DC1964

      Just thinking the same thing

    • Wezza

Unless there is serious investment, January… we’ve said that every year for several years now. Why would this January be any different?

      • MrShack66

Fatso will sack Rafa and back some hapless uselessfuck with millions and we’ll go down anyway.

      • Andy Mac

Spurs at home in April 2015 when 11,000 went missing (despite the club claiming it was only 4,000) was enough to persuade the Fat [email protected] to spend the next season.
        Summer 2015
        Wijnaldum £14.5m
        Mitrovic £13m
        Mbemba £7m
        Thauvin £12m
        Jan 2016
        Saivet £5m
        Shelvey £12m
        Townsend £12m
Sadly he let Penfold choose the manager and it all went titzup

  • Leicester Mag

Another Saturday another shambles. Sod if Rafa goes the only thing that needs to go is Ashley and while he remains a boycott now ramains the only option

  • Wezza

The death of our football club before our very eyes.

    • Leicester Mag

Eye deliberately allowed to perish through deliberate neglect while 50000 stand and watch

  • Hopey

Only when we are cut so far adrift at the bottom of the table will the majority of the supporters take action, never mind Newcastle is a lovely City

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

every match could end 2-0. weird.

    • Leicester Mag

      Certainly nil

  • nufcslf

Just as well the season started last week against Crystal Palace.

  • ToonTom

0-2 was a predictable enough score line (assuming it stays that way). Lawrenson and guest both went for it, as did I, as did most of you probably. Inability to score, inability to threaten to score, too easily scored against. You get the feeling it’s Rafa’s last game in charge, don’t you? We’ll see what the evening brings but he has little talent int he squad to play with so paying him off now might save us from the drop in Cashley’s eyes so £6m spent for £120m saved might seem like a rationale business choice. After all, we are a business to the CB and this to me would be a rational business decision. I’ve had enough of it. Long before today’s fiasco. I honestly don’t care what the score is. And a large part of me wants us to go down just to spite the CB.

    • Wezza

If they do make the change what other manager could work a miracle?

      • Kenny

        None

        • Wezza

Exactly, so it would be ridiculous.

      • Dillon Tovak

Fraudspew, back to haunt us. Ashley sat back with that smug smile on his face and St James’ packed out and silent.

        • Mrkgw

A high possibility that. Distinct Probability, even.

  • MrShack66

I’d rather watch the Toon team of the early 80s than this lot. At least weknewwewereshite.

  • Kenny

Another shambolic display from a team not fit for purpose.

  • Mrkgw

Can we recall Gayle? I’d have preferred that they had Muto.

    • Hopey

Gayle should never have been allowed to leave

      • GlasgowMag

Clutching at straws the fatboy only had to spend half the tv money and we wouldn’t be in this predicament!!

  • Peaky

This pile of shyte isn’t even a championship team…..make no mistake we’re gannin doon…

    • nufcslf

With Huddersfield and Southampton who look equally as shyt.

      • Danimal

I hope you’re right about Southampton. Other than that, I can only see us finishing above Cardiff and Huddersfield. And I’m not exactly confident of that.

  • Dillon Tovak

Can’t believe I managed to sit through that. Abysmal, boring stuff. Joselu, Atsu, Diame, Shelvey, Manquillo, Kenedy all particularly terrible.

  • GlasgowMag

It doesn’t matter who we have in charge pay peanuts guess the rest!!

  • Clarko

    Joselu
    Manquillo

    Atsu

    Hayden
    Lejeune
    Muto
    Lazaar
    Ritchie
    Ki
    Yedlin
    Fernandez
    Dubravka

    €99.75m on that.

    • Danimal

Today’s opponents spent that on four players. Even for you, that should be a clue.

      • Clarko

You’re helping make my point dummy…

        • Danimal

Sorry, I’m laughing at you now. You don’t even see the irony of what you’ve written. At least you’ve cheered me up. Though, to be fair, due to the way your hero has killed the club, I don’t really get all that upset anymore.

      • Ram Kishore

They were able to spend because they won PL, sold 3 players for 110m and bought their best players before selling them for less than 1 million each apart from Kante and Okazaki for 5m

    • nufcslf

F**k off. No investment and 5 losses and two sh*t draws to show for it. Tit

      • Clarko

No investment? Benitez has spent €142.65m since he was appointed, why are you lying?

        • glassjawsh-got-banned

eat a fat load of turds you wind up merchant

          • Clarko

Wind up merchant? How does stating a couple of facts make me a wind up merchant? It’s not my fault that you don’t like the truth…

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

you ignore every other fact other than only number you keep spewing out that doesn’t look awful for your point of view. it’s a miracle you don’t implode from the weight of your own cognitive dissonance.

          • Danimal

He probably thinks you can take Imodium for that.

          • Wezza

Just block him lads, he is upset his manure lost today and wants to wind people up.

          • Clarko

I’m not ignoring anything, you haven’t said anything to be ignored, all you have done is call me a ‘wind up merchant’…

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

good grief. net. [email protected]#king. spend! get bent.

          • Clarko

Net spent doesn’t tell you how much Benitez has spent on players, it tells you how much Ashley has spent on players dummy. Why won’t you acknowledge what Benitez has done with the €142.65m that he has spent? Or are you just going to keep ‘ignoring’ it?

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

“Dear Rafa here’s 150 million pounds, build a team out of it in an environment where most others are spending twice that. so long and thanks for all the transfer profits – xoxo Mike A.”

          • Clarko

Again, you’re ignoring what Benitez has done with the money. This conversation isn’t about Ashley and his lack of investment or what other teams are spending, the conversation is about what Benitez has done with the €142.65m that he has spent. What has he done with it?

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

I JUST told what he did with the money. He was expected to build an entire team (and generate a transfer profit) on HALF of what most other comparable sides do. It’s MY fault at this point for continuing to argue with you…

          • Clarko

And you’re still going on and on about other clubs, making claims about their spend (without evidence). What did Benitez do with the €142.65m that Ashley allowed him to spend?

        • GlasgowMag

Just remind me statistic boy what’s the figure on how much within his tenure he has made from outgoing transfer activity!!!

          • Clarko

Net spent doesn’t tell you how much Benitez has spent on players, it tells you how much Ashley has spent on players dummy

          • GlasgowMag

Same thing can you answer the question!!

        • Kenny

          F##k off, Dumbo

        • Billmag

Back again this weekend Cuckoo with the same rehash, as others have said just do one.

      Blocked again cnty

    • GlasgowMag

Yip well done Clarky boy well spotted as I said below pay peanuts you can guess the rest!!!

    • RAFmag

That gives an average spend of €6.2m per player. That buys you players who are not good enough. Even someone of your intelligence should understand that. You are blocked. Idiot….

      • Clarko

        €99.75m on that.

    • Kneebotherm8

An average of about £6 million per player………..wow……

      • Clarko

Exactly. Imagine wasting all that money on that.

        • Kneebotherm8

          Cuckoo…..cuckoo….CKO…..dummy…

  • DC1964

Cardiff can dump us to 2nd bottom!

    • Peaky

As long as it’s not Hoss as he’d miss the switch…

      • MrShack66

        Hahaha. Brilliant.

      • Leicester Mag

If he jumped off the Tyne Bridge he’d miss

    • Leicester Mag

Sadly I think some may still go and sit in the dark

      • Danimal

The football will probably look better in the dark.

        • Leicester Mag

That might explain our talent Scout S Wonder

      • MrShack66

Hahaha. True but also very sad.

If there’s an upside here, surely the CB can’t walk away from St James’ without taking action after this latest debacle? Either sack Rafa or make a meaningful commitment to back him in January. Obviously, the latter has been heard many times before so that would just become another empty promise we wait to see broken, and then gets predictably broken. So do the other one, Mike. Sack Rafa and let’s just get it over with. You had a world class manager on a plate and you’ve managed to drop the plate. Unbelievable.

    • GlasgowMag

I don’t want him to do anything but sell!!!!

      • ToonTom

Sorry, I was thinking along the lines of actions he MIGHT take not those he’ll NEVER take (Sky reports or no Sky reports).

        • Danimal

Yeah…’why can’t anyone make a success of running my Premier League football team with a negative spend, up against 19 teams who spend every year? Oh well, I’ll sack this one and try another’. Rinse and repeat for another 11 years.

  • Hopey

The fat c*nt buys House of Fraser then expects free rent from the landlords, Howay man this is the scum we are dealing with, just stay away until he is forced to sell

  • Leicester Mag

This site is also fookinshite so slow 🤬🤬. Did the Mag buy the server from sports direct.

  • Wezza

Give me strength. Rafa is not the problem here, MA is. Rafa was not backed, the confidence is sapped thanks to our owner. What good would a new manager do? Give yourselves a shake man.

    • benji

why bother paying rafa any wages at all then if it’s never his fault moron.

      • Kenny

        Troll

      • Ron

What planet did you just arrive from?

  • Leazes.

Worst start to a season in the clubs 125 years of league football….no wonder Ashley was laughing and smiling…. that’s what malevolence does!

He can get away with it too….why wasn’t he lynched!

    • Kenny

      Spineless fans, thats why

      • Wezza

Kenny, I’ve always defended those who do go but now I am questioning them now. Not so much of a whimper from the crowd in the second half. We could have voiced our opinions to MA but only a few chants in the first half.
Now Rafa is getting the blame. Unbelievable from some fans.

    • Danimal

I think we had one point from seven in 1999. But after the next game the record will fall. We will keep breaking records the longer Ashley stays at the club but they’ll never be ones that anyone wants to break. He’s like a fart in a lift. But a bit more unpleasant and unwelcome.

    • Hopey

How does Ashley get into the ground and to his seat without an altercation, surely he has to interact with some real fans on the way and be confronted with anger? I don’t get it

  • Leicester Mag

See Ned Ludd back helpfully opining over money Rafa has spent. Totally missing the point that the club is being run like a Formula 1 team sponsored by Lada. Every penny spent on plan X bargains is wasted, every signing a desperate punt forced due to never paying the going rate.

  • ToonTom

It’s a blessed relief that the season can start in earnest next Saturday at Old Trafford. Doh.

  • ToonTom

Story of my life, relegations. I was conceived pretty much as we were being relegated in 1961 (honestly!). That was followed by well-deserved relegations in 1978 and 1989. So three in my ‘lifetime’ up to then. Now we sit on the cusp already of three more relegations in 11 years – 2009 and 2016 were eminently avoidable, but this one is like the first three, utterly deserved. We are rubbish and it’s obvious to everyone. Leicester must have wandered up north thinking “How many will we get today?”, not a shred of fear in sight. I can see the CB sacking Rafa because it must be obvious that this 3rd relegation cannot be stopped (even a huge injection of cash in January would not alter the inevitable course of this pathetic season) so sacking Rafa is surely the only option the CB can see as possibly making any kind of difference?
Personally I’d be relieved for Rafa as there’s clearly no knight riding across the horizon in this story …

    • RAFmag

I’m not so sure he will sack Rafa. It will cost too much in settling his contract and any new manager will want money spent in January. Is he not more likely to gamble on a new manager in the Championship and a quick return for minimum investment. It certainly fits his MO. Maybe Rafa’s pride may make him walk. Who could blame him?

  • RAFmag

Relegation seems a certainty. The only thing to discuss is how many points we will end up with. I don’t think we will get 20 and that is me being optimistic. Any advances on 20 points?

    • ToonTom

      EDIT. Posted instead of Replied.

If we can draw all the (home) games I thought we should aim to win at
the start of the season (I didn’t see us winning any away games, by the
way), we’d finsh on 24 points. It’s that bleak.

    • Tomb

34 was enough to stay up last year. who knows we were bottom three in Feb but finished tenth. A lot of games and points to play for

  • Old codger

    Evening all
    Great day of sport.
Ryder cup then South Africa v Australia rugby
Talented sportsmen playing at the top of their game, producing great drama
just like st James’s this afternoon

sorry, I know his isn’t the time to be sarky, but the truth is, these defeats hardly register any more

We are screwed and we all know it

    • Andy Mac

Unbelievably someone on #BBCFootball, claiming to be a fan since the club began in 1992, suggested the Fatman should sack Rafa before he takes us down again ?.

I said Makemwindup or Nutjob ?

      • Danimal

Since the club began in 92, love it. Merson blathering on about us being unfair to Ashley because he’s put money in. Jesus Christ.

      • Ron

1992 – so who was it that the Robledo brothers played for?

      • Tomb

Sky would have you believe that is indeed when football began

  • ToonTom

    • Tomb

Except it doesnt work like that. Last season we lost at home to West Brom Bournemouth and Watford but beat Arsenal Man U and an ‘on the beach’ Chelsea.

  • gallowgate26

Some mug bought my seat when I didn’t renew, chuckle. How’s it going so far? I’m having a nice dinner party tonight with the money I’ve saved, cheers!

  • Kenny

How many times is he going to play Perez & Joselu before the penny drops.
i know he is stubborn and we lack players but i would rather play Murphy and Muto, give them a run.

    • robbersdog

I don’t think this can be blamed on two players; the squad as a whole isn’t fit for purpose. In fact, we wouldn’t even get promoted from the Championship with these players.

  • Andy Mac

Just been challenged by someone on Twitter asking me what would I suggest after my comments about taking the fight to the Fatman by joining the protest group and staying away from TV home games.

This is what I dont understand ! Fans claiming its their right to attend the SJP cathedral is OK with me but F F S when you do MAKE A FKN NOISE! The place is quieter than a makem jobcentre on giro day !

    • ToonTom

Symptomatic of what 11 years of creeping apathy can do to the thing you used to openly love. Now the crowd have paid their money and can’t be arsed to argue ‘cos the will has gone. This is going to be a long season of tears.

    • Wezza

I agree, I used to understand why people still went but when they do they make no noise at all.
Stay away till he is gone!

    • Ron

And that’s got to be quiet!

  • Grahame Johnson

I cried today over my club,I’m 53 and its hurting watching what one man is destroying

  • Tomb

What has happened to Kenedy since last season? We were supposed to be interested in signing him up for 20 million but went for the loan option thankfully. Looks a liability and disinterested in stark contrast to the previous loan spell
