Official Newcastle United update on DeAndre Yedlin injury
DeAndre Yedlin was forced off the pitch late on during the Tottenham match.
Newcastle having used all three subs but the defender unable to continue.
Yedlin seemed to stretch too far for a ball in the final stages and collapsed to the floor.
Treatment followed before he was helped from the pitch.
The initial diagnosis looked poor, with suggestions it could be a long-term knee injury.
However, great news, especially taking into consideration Lejeune is out until next year.
The club confirming the injury is not serious and DeAndre Yedlin should be training again shortly.

The club can confirm that the knee injury sustained by DeAndre Yedlin on Saturday was not serious.
The USA international defender limped off towards the end of United’s season opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
However he has been assessed and undergone treatment this week and is likely to resume training with his team-mates shortly.
