A thoroughly abject performance. Until Perez and Rondon took to the field we looked completely hapless offensively. Joselu works hard but thats the sum of it. Mutu looks well out of his depth. And the rest were ineffective which is worrying considering the level of opposition i.e. Championship. Extremely poor and higjly disappointing. Only positive note was The Debate om Sky during which Steve Howey in particular, along with Craig Bellamy and Mark Warburton spoke very well to highlight the issues faced at the club. Well done to them.

    • Ashley-out

another waste of £9m in Muto, way out of his depth

      • Leicester Mag

Buying sh7t players is a shocking waste, we’ve a veritable truck load of no hopers. Take Atsu, actually that’s a request will someone just take him.

        • mentalman

Aarons must do absolutely nothing in training if he’s being forced out of the club and atsu can get game time

          • Billmag

He was sent back from Italy wasn’t he so he didn’t Impress there management either.

          • mentalman

Yes there is that but you could put that down perhaps to a young lad aeay from home in a foreign country going through quite a serious court case.

Whatever the reason he hasnt progressed as much as most thought he would although i doubt he could do any less than atsu has recently

          • Billmag

I agree Atsu has been poor I just don’t think Aaron’s is the answer.

          • mentalman

I dont necessarily think he is either just think he must be really bad to be kept out of the squad by atsu

          • Billmag

Think the lad needs to get his head sorted as he showed good promise early on in his career.

          • HarryHype59

What about Murphy? For £10m he has been woeful.

        • HarryHype59

He is another “punt” that has not worked.

      • Mrkgw

I thought that he looked like an ineffective headless chicken. Now that’s bad. And to think, that Rafa didn’t rate Mitro! Remarkable.

        • Billmag

Ha ha you just can’t resist mentioning that player we sold to Fulham can you.

          • Mrkgw

            Haha, nope! Well spotted. 😀

          • Billmag

Had a little chuckle at that post mate. 😀😀

          • Mrkgw

Haha, just can’t help it. But, we have to move on eh. Just wish that things were better at the club. One calamity to the next.

      • Billmag

If he isn’t any good after 10 games I will more than likely agree with you.

    • Billmag

Too early to call out Muto IMO let’s give the lad a chance.

  • Paul Patterson

Take Rondon out and it’s a collective 5 all round.

    • With Atsu and Kenedy actually scoring a negative mark :D

  • Ashley-out

Apart from Rondon i marked them 4 or less, woeful

  • Leicester Mag

Most worrying is that the annual dip in the bargain bucket seems to have resulted in a load of duds, again.

    • HarryHype59

Yes, bin dipping very rarely works. This club does it every season under the fat lads regime. Lessons are never learnt.

  • Simon Ritter

How can anybody dismiss Muto after a couple of games? New country, new club, new teammates, new manager. Didn’t even Thierry Henry take time to settle at that small club in London when he arrived from overseas? If Muto has even 25% of that player’s ability, he’ll be a bargain.

  • wheyayeman

It was a very obvious outcome – 2 championship sides and Forest actually want to go somewhere in the cup whereas we dont. A foregone conclusion only wish I’d wagered my house on the outcome, mind you id probably only made a tenner on the result.

  • Wor Lass

Atsu and Kenedy were absolutely dire.

    • Mrkgw

And, Mutu. I suspect he was bought for reasons other than footballing ability. Money is all that matters to this despicable regime.

      • Muto was at least trying to get into space and create a shot or chance. Didn’t get any suppot from Kenedy, but I agree he was poor.

        • HarryHype59

He is a sub £10m striker who scored around fifteen goals in three seasons in the Bundasliga. Is any one actually surprised he looks poor.

      • Wor Lass

Don`t agree with you on Muto. he needs a bit more time to get up to speed with English football and to settle into a team. We`re all over the place at the minute. I did like the way Rondon finished his chance (and Perez`s little reverse pass).

      • HarryHype59

I fear Muto may turn out to be a down grade on Dwight Gayle. Buying sub £20m strikers in the premiership is pointless.

  • robbersdog

What’s happened to Kenedy? He was as catastrophically awful as he was in Cardiff, and he looks completely out of sorts. I hope Rafa can sort him out because the boy looks lost.

  • Hughie_Gallacher

I thought John Anderson was funny on the BBC Newcastle commentary last night. “I’ve got a good feeling about this match,” he said at kick off. Bam! One down after a couple of minutes!

  • I am glad to see we are for once on the same page when it comes to which players were not good enough and which ones were shocking.
Not Good Enough – Darlow, Ki, Muto, Clark, Schar. Clark and Darlow should be doing much, much better. The new boys are what they are – Squad bargain buys.
Utterly Poor – Atsu and Kenedy. Haven’t seen anything as bad. Atsu went back or passed back every time he got the ball or just circled around players with it for a few seconds before losing it to HIMSELF!
Kenedy – was sleeping and on a stroll for the First Half, Second Half he just lost the plot. Defending was shocking and didn’t take any players on, or add any creativity (create chances).
