The 2018/19 Newcastle United third kit has been revealed on Tuesday afternoon.

The new design (see below) will go on sale from Friday 3 August.

It remains to be seen how much it will cost but currently Mike Ashley is charging £65 for the new home shirt at both Sports Direct and NUFC, the full new home kit costing a whopping £112!

Ironic that only minutes before the launch of the new Newcastle United third kit, Rafa Benitez has revealed that he can’t buy players unless he sells some first.

This at a time when already £750m has been spent this summer by Premier League clubs, an average of £37.5m per club.

Newcastle have splashed out £4m.

Newcastle United have revealed the club’s three PUMA kits for the 2018/19 season.

The club’s third kit, sponsored by FUN88, was revealed on Tuesday and it features a light shade of blue – dubbed ‘blue caraçao’ – throughout.

The kit is complemented by navy blue and white accents across the shirt, shorts and socks.

The third kit was the last to be unveiled following the club’s traditional black and white home kit – worn for the first time by summer signing Ki Sung-yueng – and a maroon and navy blue away kit inspired by the Entertainers team of the mid-Nineties.

The Magpies’ will wear the club’s home kit, which features a black and white shirt, black shorts and white socks, for the first time at Tuesday night’s pre-season fixture at St. Patrick’s Athletic in Dublin.

The Magpies’ 2018/19 home kit is available for pre-order now and will be in store on Thursday 26th July.

The club’s away and third kits will be available in store from Friday 3rd August.

I hope it looks good on Joselu.

    • Weyhhadaway

Look, it comes with built in bandages on the sleeves for when they fall over.

  • Peaky

Bloody awful….looks like windscreen wash…..and what’s with that dodgy collar ???

    • Dont stop bobbi fleckman

I like the collar, not a fan of the rest, a bit of a take on the Denim adidas kit of 1996, remains my least favourite of that era.

I get the feeling a young lady could pull that off nicely.

      • Peaky

Good point, probably aimed at the ladies market..I also didn’t like that green/orange garb from the Dalglish pensioner era…

  • Weyhhadaway

And they were supposed to only change one strip per year?

  • Ram Kishore

    Looks good

  • Leicester Mag

Like a cat shown a shiny toy there will be plenty buying. Another money spinner for the fat man’s pockets.

  • Mark Davies

Looks the colour of the chav pop the mackems drink in bus shelters while fingering their sisters.

Looks good though, shame we won’t have a team to match. Where is the money going? ASHLEY OUT!

Monkseaton will be modelling with his brother

    First kit – standard.

    Second kit – like.

Third kit – modelled on the pyjamas Mike Ashley is wearing whilst sleeping through the transfer window – that’s the only time it’ll be worn.

I think the only Premier League clashes with our first two kits are both blue and white stripes – Huddersfield (white shorts) and Brighton (blue shorts) – so to bring out a third strip thats a shade of blue is stupid, but probably just chosen because it’ll look ok with jeans.

    • Tony English

CORRECTION…Brighton have switched to white home shorts this year, so some picky refs might not like second kit having white shorts, may see a bastardisation strip in those games.

A blue third strip is not needed in any fixture.

  • Mxpx

I think that we need to go back to the brasil style away kit you don’t need 3 kits with that one

    • Dont stop bobbi fleckman

The cabaye winner v Man U? That was a good kit. That said, the yellow has not always served us well, the bannana away of 2009-10 was good but we did badly in the 1988-9 flecky yellow and green stripe plus the bukta away 1978, both taking us down.

    • Peaky

Used to love that kit from the Supermac era..
