Thanks mate-hopefully not a sign of things to come

I was watching with one eye on the boxing but from what I saw we barely troubled them. Massive need for some “fret” up front otherwise the defence is gonna be extremely overworked this season ? 🤔
Chisora just KO’d Takam in the tenth

          • gold coast mag

Just like last season, very little threat going forward, but solid in defence. Boxing is not my sport anymore- love UFC which is a more realistic fight

          • Andy Mac

Yup but Gayle sat it out and the new lad hasn’t got a work permit so there wasn’t a lot left. Rafa’s preparation can be as meticulous as you want but with the uncertainty surrounding player movement its impossible to get the team working/bonding together until the deals are all done and he knows what he’s working with ? Fatman knows the cost of everything but the value of nowt.

I’m an eternal optimist, and after Leicester did the extraordinary a few years ago I’m always hoping we can do something similar. If Mitros et als money is used in the next few weeks we can get a striker, or Gayle might get his mojo back, I Live in hope

Its all we’ve got GCM 🙄
