Official Premier League site trolls Newcastle fans on summer transfers
There have now been twenty nine confirmed incoming Premier League transfers (all detailed below).
This is now the 36th day of the Premier League summer transfer window after it opened on 17 May 2018.
Interesting to see that the rate of signings appears to be picking up, with four signings yesterday (Wednesday) and over £50m committed.
The official Premier League site featuring three of these signings as they ‘troll’ Newcastle fans with this message:

‘Premier League clubs are keeping busy during the world Cup’….well some are.
Worrying when you see a club such as Huddersfield being so bold once again, already completing four transfer deals with over £30m reported to have been agreed in transfer fees.
This window closes in England at 5pm on Thursday 9 August, so 49 days of fun and games still to go.
Over in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, their windows opened on 1 June and run until 31 August.
So once the Premier League window closes, clubs in other countries can still potentially buy players from English clubs for another 22 days, though English clubs will no longer be able to buy.
