The contract situation of all 30 Newcastle players is below.

Newcastle fans constantly told how important it will be this summer to get unwanted players off the wage bill, to help make room for and help pay for new signings coming in.

So what is the state of play with contracts at the minute.

What is the good and bad news when it comes to which individuals shortly see their contracts run out – plus those who have plenty years left to go.

The best news surely must be that Jamaal Lascelles is contracted the furthest into the future.

Signing a new deal not long ago, the NUFC Captain is the only one who sees his current deal run until 30 June 2023.

At the other end of things, also good to see that in 11 days time we will see Gamez, Good and Haidara all finally drop off the wage bill.

Of other players who Rafa definitely wants to move on, you have Colback with a year left, Mitrovic and Mbemba with two years, Lazaar, Sels, Saivet and Aarons with three.

However, good to see that Dubravka, Dummett, Lejeune and Merino all are contracted until 30 June 2022. Whilst Shelvey and Ritchie are amongst another eight who have three years still to go.
