Sam Allardyce has been sacked by Everton.

The former Newcastle manager getting the boot on Wednesday morning and no doubt many Everton fans breathing a huge sigh of relief.

When appointed six months ago, Sam Allardyce was given a contract until June 2019, so no doubt he will be picking up yet another massive pay-off.

Maybe he’ll buy a new villa like he did when leaving St James Park.

He hasn’t taken the news well though, saying he is ‘disgusted’ at the move.

The Everton supporters quickly realised just how bad the football would be under Sam Allardyce.

Whilst they were also less than impressed with his press conferences.

BBC Sport:

‘Sam Allardyce: Everton manager leaves club after six months in charge

Sam Allardyce has left as Everton manager after six months at the club.

The 63-year-old signed a contract until June 2019 when he took over in November following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.

Everton, who were 13th in the Premier League when Allardyce arrived, finished the season in eighth.’

Sam Allardyce has reacted…:

“I’m shocked, disappointed and disgusted that the football club didn’t have the decency to tell me, my Director of Football and my staff about the changes.

“They must have been in the pipeline for a considerable time but no-one thought to tell me and my staff. I’m pretty disgusted.

“I came into the football club with the team struggling and we have finished 8th in the table. I’m more than happy with what myself, my staff and the players have achieved from when I came in.”

  • paul mclaughlan

I predict he’s Makem bound again.

    • Paul Patterson

I think he would class that as beneath him . .

      • paul mclaughlan

The one set of fans who’ll welcome him back.

    • Dingus

I’d say it’s more likely he’ll return to SJP. Him and Ashley have been real chums in the press lately. And I’m fairly confident someone will pay Rafa’s contract when he confirms he hasn’t been able to come to an agreement with Barnes and Charnley.

      • paul mclaughlan

Aye Ashley did say he regretted sacking him. 🙄

    • Jezza

No chance. He’ll get another Premiership job. Makes you sick.

      • paul mclaughlan

Just have a sneaky feeling. Talking to a makem the other day and he said he’d love him back.

        • Billmag

He won’t drop 2 divisions Paul not enough sack money to be had.

          • Jezza

Yes the brown envelopes in the lower divisions are a lot thinner too.

  • Geordiegiants

I feel so sorry for him 🤔
Anyway I see the bast dost shyte has started again at our Dross local rag.

    • Peaky

      Shithouses
      😂😂😂😂

      • Geordiegiants

        Shitmanager, shitpaper.

        • Peaky

Branching out from houses….love it…..they must be going slack on the monitoring at Disqus…
          🤣🤣

      • Rich Lawson

How did that pass our censors then ?

        • Peaky

If they’re letting that photo of Moyes past I think it’s a free for all at the minute….

          • Rich Lawson

Must have popped out for a Gregg’s ?

        • Peter Graham

No space between s**t and houses. That simple believe it or not.

  • Dingus

That photo’s class! He’s looking very well these days!

Well, Sam, I’m disgusted you’re still involved in football, given your own admission of corruption.

I’m not shocked though. Par for the course. The industry is rotten.

  • Billmag

Another big pay off for Hippo Heed it’s amazing how much money this man has accrued for basically being a failure, he couldn’t even keep himself right when he was England manager because greed took over.

  • Paul Patterson

That’ll be Goodison Grotto added to his big pay off property portfolio . .

    • Jezza

Best job in the world being a failed football manager. That fat greedy barsteward is probably on more money than Guardiola thanks to all his pay offs.

      • Rich Lawson

He and Harry are sat in a sunny bar now laughing themselves stupid over how 2 very average players made a fortune out of winning so little at management.

        • Jezza

I wouldn’t be surprised if hippo heed is the highest earning manager in the country with all the multi million Pound pay offs he’s had. There was a time when he was pulling in £3 million a year for managing West Ham while he was still being paid off by both Newcastle and Blackburn Rovers.

  • harrybarracuda

Everton fans don’t know how lucky they are.

Could have been relegated by now.

  • Mike

another massive payoff to a sham of a manager there is a group of them that go around in a roundabout and still get jobs unbelievable

    • Peaky

Can see him at Stoke or WBA next….

      • Leazes.

Why not he’s been everywhere else.

        • Peaky

Maybe even both at the same time knowing him….job share…

          • Leazes.

Oh…. he hasn’t had Chelsea or Man United….. can’t think why…. he did finish above Rafa!

      • Jezza

Worse than that he’ll probably get another Premiership job. First Premiership job that comes up next season and he’s a shoe in. Makes you sick.

        • Peaky

Wolves will need to hit the ground running….that’s right in his neck of the woods….

        • Rich Lawson

My guess would be Derby County for a finally succesful play off place and the chance to boost their squad with a bunch of unheard of mercinaries from his agent pals ?

          • Jezza

Ha ha yes and hippo heed is the biggest mercenary of them all. I wonder how much he got in back handers for bringing rubbish like Geremi, Cacapa, Faye and Rozenal to St James’s Park.

    • Jezza

The most sickening thing is that the fat greedy barsteward will be absolutely over the moon regardless of what he says publicly. He will be delighted with yet another multi million Pound pay off. It was always the plan. He only takes on jobs for the pay off when he gets sacked within a few months. When ever he gets a new job he wrangles a longer contract than the club are offering, not because he wants time to do the job properly but simply because he can get a bigger pay off. That vile exuse for a man is nothing but scum. Sheer utter corrupt dishonest rotten greedy scum.

      • Rich Lawson

He personifies all that is wrong with football today.

  • Peaky

Name wrong on main headline….does proof reading exist at The Mag ???

    • Kneebotherm8

It nearly reads Sam Allardyck…….which would have been correct…😂😂

      • Peaky

        😂🤣😂

      • Jezza

        A-Lard-Arce would be better.

  • ghostrider

The owners of Everton football club should hang their heads in shame and so should all those supporters/fans who clamoured for his head on a platter.
    Short memories.
Allardyce deserves every penny of his pay off and more for what he’s sorted out at that club.
Yeah his football hasn’t been Man City esque but neither has ours and Rafa is almost at statue frenzy with some of our fans.

What’s that I hear?…..Allardyce had a expensive squad and he should have …….what should he have done?
He took over a team that was forced on Koeman (in my opinion) and it didn’t work. I believe Rooney was another that was thrust upon Koeman.
Allardyce was tasked with sorting it all out. He did it.

I sincerely hope they struggle like crazy next season. I’d like to think they’d get relegated but we’ll see.

    • Dont stop bobbi fleckman

It looked that way to me, too.

They had an very slow squad, in fact only Aladyce’s purchases in January gave them pace which undeservedly gave them a win against us.

They could have sat him down a week ago and been civil.

    • Paul Morgan

I’m not hanging my head in shame,in fact i’m delighted.Fair enough we finished 8th but that is mainly down to the fact that all the clubs beneath us had pretty dire seasons.Whenever we played the teams above us we got spanked and Evertonians do not want to watch negativity week in week out.We don’t do relegation by the way, played more top flight games than ANY club in the country.

      • No team will win anything with ‘Fat Sam’. Boring and soulless should not be the aspirations of a top six club. Good luck to Everton, they deserve better than the Football’s Dirty Secrets protagonist!

      • KRS1

Paul, Ghostnumpty is not representative of NUFC fans. Allardyce is a horrible disgrace of a man – you are well shot of him and his bang average football!

        • Jezza

He is not representative of Newcastle fans because he is not a Newcastle fan.

      • ghostrider

I agree with you about negative football but the reality was, Allardyce was brought in to do a specific job.
I’m sure you know what that job was.
And weirdly, even though a good proportion of Everton fans are now against Allardyce, they lauded his appointment when their results improved.
Allardyce had 6 months to get it right and for Everton to fight at the top end being a bonus of him ensuring quick safety…and he achieved both.

He wasn’t given a chance to sort anything out, he was simply sacked, so you’ll never know if your football would have been much less negative.
Maybe your new manager can sort it all for you whilst Allardyce goes and does a sterling job elsewhere, or even retires with his deserved full contract pay off.

        Good luck to Sam.
As for Everton….well, let’s just say I wouldn’t be too down to see them struggle badly just to see what the fans and owners think then.

      • Danimal

Not many large, established, well supported, wealthy big city clubs do relegation these days. It’s a special talent of our current owner, who is worshipped by Ghost (and his aliases).

      • Peter Graham

Ignore the idiot Paul. He’s not representative of Newcastle fans as he isn’t one.

    • Ram Kishore

I dont personally like him because of his own admission of being corrupt despite holding onto the top managerial position for the national team but

Everton sacking Sam was inevitable..I expected it..
He got the huge payoff though..
      So he’s lucky
At least the club could have acted in a more dignified manner.. Like mutual consent

Yes Koeman wasn’t given time and a rich squad was kinda pushed on him

  • London Geordie

The football he plays is no worse than Benitez he makes the best of what he has. He has always delivered results and done the job he’s been asked to do. I still can’t stand him as a man, he is corrupt though and anybody with his money and gifted lifestyle has no reason to be corrupt it’s pure greed and that’s the disgusting thing about the man.

    • Leazes.

He is more effective than Benitez the stats prove it.

      • Jezza

His stats at Newcastle were far worse than Rafa’s.

        • Billmag

Correct Jez remember Derby had the worst points record in Premier history and yet took 4 points off us under his management.

          • Jezza

Yes one of his many highlights during his stint as Newcastle manager along with being 4-0 down after 19 minutes at home to Portsmouth who hadn’t won at St James’s Park since World War Two.

          • Desree

I was watched at 3am on a sunday morning. That game was the pits.

          • Kneebotherm8

11 points all season for Derby that year……as you say 4 of those off us…….we made them look good in both games…..

      • London Geordie

We dumped on him same as Everton but he did ok out of us both

        • Leazes.

          No

      • Polarboy

What stats? If you’re talking about the league this year then given Everton spent over a hundred million on transfers it would be too bad if they didn’t do at least slightly better than us, which is all they did.

      • Rich Lawson

        Effective,but unatractive,his downfall.

    • Polarboy

You’re talking nonsense. They may both be defensive coaches but at least Rafa realises that you have to attack as well. Rafa plays pragmatic counter attacking football which when done right is attractive enough to the eye. Were you bored against Man U or Chelsea this year? Fathead on the other hand routinely had Everton playing such dirge that they were lucky to get more than three shots on target in the 90, and that’s in no way an exaggeration.

    • Lewi

Thing is though, Fat Sam had a much more expensive squad. Rafa is forced to play that style due to his resources.

      • Jezza

True and Rafa’s results at Newcastle have been far better than hippo heed’s were. Under Rafa we win ugly but under hippo head we were just losing ugly.

        • Monkseaton Magpies

They finished eighth but you and the Mag rewrite history to suit your agenda.

  • Monkseaton Magpies

He got Everton to eighth and the league table money will more than pay his redundancy costs so cannot understand the hatred towards him. There is no way Everton will finish as high next season lets hope they are in relegation trouble. A right shower of a club sacking two managers in a season.

    • KRS1

You amaze me everytime you open your mouth. An Ashley fan, an Allardyce fan and someone who doesn’t like Shearer. And you expect us to believe you support NUFC – genius

      • Wezza147

He doesn’t he is just a sad trolling Man Utd fan, just block him.

        • Monkseaton Magpies

Any one who blocks any one shows they have no brains at all and cannot stand the facts if they back the club up. It’s anti Ashley or nothing on here.

          • Guest 2

You are anti everyone, except Ashley. Muppet.

I think you’ll find Shearer got dumped by your hero, twice. Once as club Ambassador (2008) and then as temp manager. Don’t let facts stand in your way, ever.

          • TheFatController

Is that a law of science, like the law of gravity, that if you block someone you therefore have no brains?

Empirically proven to be right every time it’s been tested ?

        • Jezza

That’s exactly what he is. Never been to Monkseaton in his life, he found it on google maps and used it for the purposes of alliteration.

          • Monkseaton Magpies

Must be bed time in your rest home now Jezza enjoy your Horlicks.

      • Monkseaton Magpies

I am not an Allardyce fan but the bloke did get them to eighth when they were in trouble so seems a bit harsh. Shearer packed his box in as his chums preferred to play golf and his son watch rugby. Great player but awful fan. Yes I do support Newcastle actually probably in the top fifteen supporters of the club not that it matters.

        • Guest 2

15? I guess you counted using your fingers?

          • Monkseaton Magpies

Sorry the club have a league table not that it matters to you
            or others on here.

          • Guest 2

Go on, post it for us then…

          • Monkseaton Magpies

Well how many away loyalty points have you got then.

          • Guest 2

Go ahead and post it for us then. Stop avoiding, super fan.

          • Monkseaton Magpies

There are 24,602 fans in the league table which is something the club has so you would have to ask them your individual position. Fans with over 150 points are 1,122. Fans with 100 to 149 are 918. Fans with 75 to 99 615. Fans with 50 to 74 are 914. Fans with 25 to 49 are 2,246. Lastly fans between one point are 18,247.

          • Guest 2

Post your ranking of 15th super supporter then. Lets see the paperwork.
            You’re a loon.

          • Monkseaton Magpies

With five hundred and four away loyalty points some people would say I was a loon but the likes of this site does not know what it is like to follow a club through good and bad.

          • Guest 2

Shows what a complete [email protected] that would make you then, even if it were remotely true. Following all those ex players and managers who you slag off on here, yet still keeping licking on Ashley’s hoop.
I wonder if you are a retarded illegitimate child of his?

          • Monkseaton Magpies

One hundred per cent true. The good thing about Clarko, Bobby Fleckman and Ghostrider on here is that they never slag anyone off. Funny how the anti Ashley Club lot resort to petty name calling.

          • Guest 2

Unlike yourself of course, who doesn’t mind slagging off any ex Newcastle player, or manager, who criticises Ashley.
The rest of them, if not you too, could well be the same person using different names. That’s what most people here believe.
You all have one thing in common. 100% defence and support of Ashley.

      • FatParosite

Just block him… you’ll thank me for it.

      • joe mac

        block him!

      • Jezza

The troll hates Kevin Keegan too. Just block him.

      • Peter Graham

Block him. I have and life is so much better. If everybody does the same he will cease to exist.

    • Danimal

Yes, why sack people when you can try forcing them out by undermining them or just stop returning their calls when it’s contract renewal/transfer budget time. That’s a much more professional way of going about things.

  • Kneebotherm8

    West Ham,Arsenal,Everton and,supposedly,Leicester jobs up for grabs……….worryingly…….

    • Jezza

Rafa to Everton is a very strong possibility in my book regardless of what people might say about his prior Liverpool connection.

      • FatParosite

I wholeheartedly agree. This has sped up Ashley’s agenda. Expect more club for sale guff.

  • Kneebotherm8

Why use that photo for fat sham?……..ok,there’s an uncanny resemblance granted………..but howay man……….its tekkin the pss time innit…………😂😂

    • Jezza

The creature in the picture is much easier on the eye than hippo heed.

      • Rich Lawson

And probably ate the brown paper bags after pocketing the contents.

      • Kneebotherm8

        😂😂😂

  • MichaelMaximusMoose

Toss up between him and Pard`s to replace Rafa,
one day we might get a manager who`s funded properly & Nufc will play some decent football again instead of the shyte they`ve dished up for years.

    • Peaky

You can chuck Moyes name in the ring now….

  • magpiefifer

    Just a very dislikeable,arrogant man.
No doubt he will turn up somewhere else and make a nice packet!

    • Jezza

True. Good things always happen to bad people.

      • FatParosite

Ashley will move Moyes in when he p155es Rafa off.

  • Billmag

Ha Ha this must be sack Wednesday Moysie gone now.

  • David2211

The Ashley lovers on here sticking up for Allardyce. Shocking…

    • FatParosite

Block them they are doing Bishops volunteer work…

  • Andy Mac

Casa Goodison on the way ? I would be so shocked and disgusted at being given £6m for doing nowt

  • Desree

Anyone on here claiming rafa is a mercenary when he gets paid the same as Rafa STFU

  • Simon Ritter

Smellydice cooked his own goose by telling the world he had been hired by Everton to save them from relegation. They stayed up (they were 13th when he took over, btw) so there was no need to retain his services. Simples . . .

  • Geordiegiants

Eh how did you get away with that? Are you the moderator 😂🤣

    • Dillon Tovak

Hahaha I have no idea, I only wrote it to test it! 😂

    • Peter Graham

      Mark must have OD’d

  • 1ewis

He should just retire, spare everyone else the misery of watching his brand of football.

  • Mrkgw

In fairness, he did well for Everton but, thats the disloyal world of footballl for you. Nothing surprises me and lets all hope that Moyes sacking has no hidden agenda affecting our club. Otherwise, the next installment of Pardew bekons.

  • Elsa

For what it’s worth I think Koeman would have kept them up anyway. Had Everton signed a striker in the Summer instead of 3 no10’s to fill the Lukaku shaped hole in the starting XI (if I remember rightly they were hoping to sign Giroud) they’d probably not have been in the situation where they had to appoint Allardyce in the first place

  • Rich Lawson

I salute you for getting that one thru’,true as it is.
