Sam Allardyce has been sacked by Everton.

The former Newcastle manager getting the boot on Wednesday morning and no doubt many Everton fans breathing a huge sigh of relief.

When appointed six months ago, Sam Allardyce was given a contract until June 2019, so no doubt he will be picking up yet another massive pay-off.

Maybe he’ll buy a new villa like he did when leaving St James Park.

He hasn’t taken the news well though, saying he is ‘disgusted’ at the move.

The Everton supporters quickly realised just how bad the football would be under Sam Allardyce.

Whilst they were also less than impressed with his press conferences.

BBC Sport:

‘Sam Allardyce: Everton manager leaves club after six months in charge

Sam Allardyce has left as Everton manager after six months at the club.

The 63-year-old signed a contract until June 2019 when he took over in November following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.

Everton, who were 13th in the Premier League when Allardyce arrived, finished the season in eighth.’

Sam Allardyce has reacted…:

“I’m shocked, disappointed and disgusted that the football club didn’t have the decency to tell me, my Director of Football and my staff about the changes.

“They must have been in the pipeline for a considerable time but no-one thought to tell me and my staff. I’m pretty disgusted.

“I came into the football club with the team struggling and we have finished 8th in the table. I’m more than happy with what myself, my staff and the players have achieved from when I came in.”
