The Premier League form table ahead of Everton v Newcastle
The Premier League form table is looking good for Newcastle United.
In the last half dozen matches, Newcastle have four wins, one draw and only the single defeat at Liverpool.
With 13 points from a possible 18, it puts NUFC in sixth position in the Premier League form table below.
The five teams in better form are all in the current top seven of the Premier League, with actually Burnley impressively at the very top with five straight wins.
Of course, Newcastle’s seventh last match was the win over Man Utd, so in this six game form table, Rafa’s team have lost that one but gained the victory over Arsenal.
Monday’s opponents Everton are ninth in this Premier League form table, the same as in the full table after 34 matches, one point ahead of Newcastle but United with a game in hand and a better goal difference.
In these past half dozen games, the Toffees have two wins, two draws and two defeats but the natives are not happy.
Still to complete five months at the club but the scousers are now well aware of just how bad life is under Sam Allardyce.
Grinding out the odd win such as the last two against Brighton and Stoke but only last weekend, Allardyce was booed by the travelling fans due to the boring negative football at Swansea, as the manager refused to change his usual tactics despite being safe in mid-table and playing against one of the worst teams in the league.
Let’s hope there is plenty more booing for Fat Sam at the end of Monday night’s match…
