New Premier League relegation odds after weekend – Bookies say West Brom and any 2 from 7

Interesting to look at the Premier League relegation odds after the weekend’s action.

With 29 matches played so far and only 9 remaining, we are really getting to the business end of things.

Crystal Palace play Man Utd at home tonight to complete this round of fixtures and we could really do with Mourinho’s men winning, as that would keep Palace bottom three, whilst a victory for the home side would take them above Newcastle.

This would partly make up for their feeble home defeat to Bournemouth which has helped catapult Eddie Howe’s team out of the relegation favourites.

As you can see from the Premier League relegation odds below, there has been a bit of a shake up.

Any win at this stage and Brighton followed up a victory over Swansea with another one against Arsenal yesterday, those six points actually lifting them into the top half on 34 points, above Everton.

The bookies have reacted by moving Brighton out to 14/1 for relegation, which is still a bit short, considering Everton are below them but are 50/1.

West Brom are now seen as well gone, as short as 1/20 and seemingly nailed on to go down, eight points from safety and with Alan Pardew in charge.

As for the other two relegation spots, the bookies seem to think it is and two clubs from seven.

Only three points separate Swansea in 13th (30 points) and Stoke in 19th (27 points), the bookies rating these seven clubs at between 4/6 and 5/1 (see each team’s odds below) to join West Brom for the drop.

This is how the bottom of the Premier League looks on Monday morning:

Needless to say, these next two games at home to Southampton and Huddersfield are absolutely massive for Newcastle United.

Two wins and I think the bookies will see Rafa’s team all but safe, anything less and we will still be right in there.

These are the Premier League relegation odds now for each club:

1/20 West Brom

4/6 Stoke

2/1 Huddersfield

9/4 Crystal Palace

5/2 Swansea

10/3 Southampton

4/1 Newcastle United

5/1 West Ham

14/1 Brighton

33/1 Bournemouth

50/1 Everton

100/1 Watford
