Wednesday night sees Newcastle United’s young stars in action, competing in the FA Youth Cup.
It is at the fifth round stage (last 16) and the NUFC Academy players are going for what would be a remarkable 11th away win in a row in the competititon.
Newcastle have won the FA Youth Cup twice before.
In 1962 the likes of Bobby Moncur and David Craig helped lead NUFC to lift the trophy, whilst Paul Gascoigne was the big inspiration in the 1985 triumph.
Tonight it is an away game at Norwich with a 7pm start, with the tie decided on the night with extra time and penalties if necessary.
Newcastle United (kind of) know their route to the final already, with the other rounds pre-drawn as well.
Victory against the Canaries would see Newcastle then play either Bury or Birmingham on Tyneside.
The semi-final is a two-legged affair and that would see one of Plymouth, Fulham, Chelsea or Spurs, in opposition. Newcastle at home in the first leg, if reaching the last four.
Best of luck to the Newcastle team tonight and if you do happen to be in the area, get along to Carrow Road for the 7pm kick-off and support the lads.
