  • Leazes.

I see the chronicle are serialising ex physio Paul Ferris’s book ‘the boy on the Shed’….

…. one line at a time!

    • TheFatController

it could go on for months…..

  • Arty Hume

Think we did well for playing with 10 men..

  • Geordiegiants

The papers are giving Jonjo a hard time for his miss, I think Perez’s was just as bad if not worse.

  • Philippines

I think Perez rated a much better score. I would have given him 6.

  • Philippines

I think Perez deserved more. This rating is just the NUFC fan ‘herd’ mentality that sets in for some players. I would rate him 6. Daily Mail gave 6, Chronicle 5. He laid on the second goal for Gayle.

    • TheNutJob

      over 90mins he was terrible

      • Coach Clagnut

        He wasn’t even that good.

  • Monkseaton Magpies

How many people on this site were there or watched the game Probably none or at most half a dozen. The Sunday Sun and the Mirror gave Perez seven and other players six you just morons who do not support the club or know what is going on.

Every week erez gets the lowest score but Rafa keeps on playing him, even Joselu would be worth a go in the 10 as at least he can hold the ball up. Shelvey runs half the length of the pitch to get on the end of a pass and misses under pressure but an alleged striked misses from 6 yards and its hardly mentioned by the media. Come on man Rafa. Lampard highlighted Shevey’s weaknesses and it was annoying to see as he had been good offensively. Should probably have taken him off for Merino to give the midfield fresh legs- the subs were bizarre again yesterday, we were already trying to play on the break but the late subs played in to their hands with our inability to hold the ball in the final third with Gayle off.
