  • mentalman

no shock that rafa hasn’t picked his best team again today and we can’t even put a striker on the bench

    • JonMag

Slimani is injured & the Hoss has a virus

      • mentalman

he’s suffering from an allergy to the goal

  • LEE

Rafa makes no sense, Atsu was replaced by Murphy MW, so murphy starts on the bench and Ritchie starts.

Darlow is poor, he brings in a new Keeper, and puts him on the bench.

Perez and Gayle never work together.

    • Ram Kishore

Makes sense.. Murphy is an impact sub today and against Burnley
Darlow ain’t poor ig your eyes are..he just needs to improve his decision making

Yep u r right about Perez and Gayle never work together. We always needed a center forward

  • Leicester Mag

Hos down with Virus (foot and head by the looks of things). Only Newcastle could make a loan signing at the end of window and they be injured.

    • 1957

It’s not the first time, remember Stephen Ireland…

  • 1957

Murphy would have started today for me, he’s doing ok recently scored and created chances and to me needs to start more games.

On the bright side no Hoss, hopefully this virus will be his equivalent of Mitrovic’s back injury.

  • Colin Brumwell

I am seriously starting to doubt this mans ability to pick a team very confused selections.

    • LEE

now now dont question the great man, we must think crowd mentality ;)

      • Colin Brumwell

Emperors new clothes springs to mindm

        • LEE

          haha

    • robbersdog

Why is it ‘confused’? Considering the limitations of our squad, that team looks well balanced and about as good as it’s going to get.

      • LEE

        would you have picked Darlow

        • robbersdog

          Yes, absolutely.

        • hetonmag

How can you put a new keeper in when he’s never worked with his new team mate’s.

          • LEE

            easy. i dont trust Darlow

          • hetonmag

            That’s an easy cop out.

          • LEE

but its the truth. plus this guy i would hope has been brought in to be no1, you have to start him at some point, Palace would have been a good place to start, we are better away then at home, less pressure

          • hetonmag

Yes and if he made a howler you would have been the one to say Rafa doesn’t know what he’s doing.

          • LEE

thats your opinion, but i would never have a go a any new starter, i believe we all have nerves, and he or any other new starter needs a few games to get a feel for things.

        • Wor Lass

          I would.

    • hetonmag

Who would you pick, or not pick.

      • LEE

If anyone answers this, then they get called a fool, and how can you possibly know more than Rafa, he works with them week in week out.
but I question Darlow, i question Ritchie, i question Perez, all 3 have been very poor.

        • hetonmag

I have answered you about Darlow, Ritchie (Murphy) maybe, but who instead of Perez ?.

          • LEE

to be honest, id like to see Merino play there, he does for the U21 in spain

          • hetonmag

Not strong enough at the moment for me.

          • LEE

now im not saying they wont score today, im saying that from all the games we have seen them play, 99% of them they have been poor,
im not sure why you would think he is not strong enough, he is played in DMC position which means he needs to be strong

  • JonMag

with the squad he has, that`s about the best he can field

    • Damon Horner

Pretty much, not spectacular and doesn’t feel like it could be!

      • JonMag

i think we may get a result today

        • Damon Horner

So do I, win would be perfect, takes us to 11th but essential not to lose.

  • Damon Horner

Looks like he has gone with experience today, some threat from the bench also… Howay the lads!

  • Bowlsey

Given how Rafa sets up it’s a pretty strong squad…well, strong for us. Just kicked off. Howay the lads!

  • DC1964

    Great save from Darlow.

  • TheNutJob

    Slomo, Newcastle`s Messi
    😂😂😂😂😂

  • DC1964

    Get in!

  • paul mclaughlan

    Diame the mooch.

  • thewildchimp

Hah, actually guessed the lineup for the first time this season…

Brilliant pass from Perez! And Diame’s on fire!

    • TheNutJob

Betvictor would give you a 100/1 on that

  • robbersdog

    Yippee!

  • DC1964

This game could be 4-4 already!

  • TheNutJob

    SloMo, batteries included. duracell +

  • DC1964

Riding our luck here today, can’t see this game ending 1-0!

    • paul mclaughlan

They should’ve scored two in the last couple of mins.

      • DC1964

I know, it’s been a very open game!

      • thewildchimp

Yeah, Dummet and Clark should step it up, or we’ll concede.

        • paul mclaughlan

I agree about Clark. Dummet has been good.

  • LEE

    outstanding first half

    • hetonmag

      Darlow played well eh.

      • Geordiegiants

He has done alreet hasn’t he?

      • DC1964

Played well since getting back in the team.

      • 1957

He’s not a bad goalkeeper, just inconsistent. He will have a series of good games then drop a couple of howlers, after which he is normally benched, rather than persevering with him.

        • hetonmag

Agreed but he couldn’t put the new keeper in today.

          • Mike Adam

You guys are amazing the guy has played great, saved two goals in the first half.

          • 1957

I’d keep him in but we all know what Benitez will do, he tried to sell Darlow in the summer…Rafa’s own signings always are his priority

        • Mike Adam

You are amazing you know the future! He has been fantastic since his drop. He should be #1.

          • 1957

No just two years of Benitez. Darlow is better than Elliott, but the new goalkeeper is a cert to start in the near future…

      • LEE

        not really

        • hetonmag

          Shut up.

  • Kev-82

Looking comfortable but could do with a second as Palace are dangerous in the break and I can see them scoring.

    • Clarko

So we are not looking comfortable then…

      • JonMag

        that about sums it up

    • hetonmag

      Zaha needs to be stopped.

      • glassjawsh-got-banned

that sounds like the name of a Smith’s album

        • hetonmag

          😀😀😀😀😀😀

  • JonMag

same old, same old, we were the better team till we scored then once again we let them put us on the back foot, it`s a nasty habit & the manager needs to sort it

    • Geordiegiants

Jon it’s working for the minute, stop being so negative until it happens.

      • JonMag

        the truth isn`t negative

        • Geordiegiants

I’m with you that we have enough in the team to attack these, but give it a rest man with the doom and gloom when we are winning.

          • JonMag

look at my post an hour before kick off & i said we`d get a result. is that negative, now [email protected]@k off. i state the facts, not fiction like you

          • Mike Adam

Come on Jon be nice, we are all on the same side.

      • Mike Adam

Hey mate, two nice ones by Darlow !!!

        • Geordiegiants

          What was he doing there.

  • Bowlsey

Great half from the lads. Kenedy is looking very dangerous for us!

  • Geordiegiants

Hope Kennedy has enough legs for the second half

    • JonMag

considering his lack of game time the kid`s great, sign him

      • thewildchimp

Considering our lack of quality game time, doubt he’d accept it.

        • JonMag

          maybe

      • nufcslf

That would mean money from the fat c**t, so not a chance.

  • Bowlsey

Love how it causes Souness physical pain to say anything positive about us.

    • Tino o

      Something stuck in his throat!

      • Soldier

        something nasty i hope

        • Tino o

          Without a doubt

    • Damon Horner

Did he say anything positive? Haha

      • Bowlsey

No, but he thought for one moment that he was going to be forced to say something positive and it made him choke.

  • Grahame Johnson

Girls don’t like boys girls like mo diame

  • 1957

We’ve got ahead and let’s hope we stay on the front foot and don’t drop back deeper in our own half the second period.

    • hetonmag

Hope not if we can sniff Zaha out we have a chance.

  • Mike Adam

Darlow has made two great saves preventing goals!!! Improving every game and deserves to continue as the #1.

    • DC1964

      I totally agree,

  • Soldier

had a couple of lucky escapes & we need to tighten up out wide, so far, so good
    Darlow, top class

  • TheNutJob

another goal will kill them off, i`d wait 15 -20 mins then put Murph or Atsu on

    • 1957

If only we had the Hoss to bring on as well

  • hetonmag

Going to be a long 45min.

  • HarryHype59

Conceding far too much possession at the moment.

  • TheNutJob

Clark wants shooting for that pen

    • HarryHype59

Like so many in this team he isn’t EPL standard! Mind you that goal has been coming since the start of the second half.

      • JonMag

        yes it has

      • hetonmag

What about our chance . Properly under the cosh now.

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

    utter garbage

  • Bowlsey

What was Clark thinking? Back to square one…

    • Jordan Peterson

That was never a pen. They are diving all over now

      • JonMag

seen them given the other week, pull of the shirt it`s a pen

  • Jordan Peterson

There was no way that was ever a penalty. You don’t see penalties like that given against Arsenal or Manchester United??

    • nufcslf

Keep you f**king hands to yourself. Soft but so bloody obvious.

    • Kev-82

As soft as it is, a shirt pull is a foul. If more pens were given for it we’d hopefully see it stamped out of the game. Clark’s stupidity could well have cost us points here.

      • Peaky Magpie

Clark been poor all season, found out in PL again like at Villa.

  • Mrkgw

What an idiot Clark. And then Kennedy subbed. Why, why, why?

    • hetonmag

Probably because if he had passed to Perez we might have been two up.And by the way it was never a pen.

      • Mrkgw

        Agreed – very harsh award

        • JonMag

he pulled his shirt, some are given some aren`t

        • hetonmag

How often does an assistant give a penalty.

  • JonMag

i`ll say it again, same old same old, going on the back foot when leading.
paid the price giving away a stupid penaly

    • Mrkgw

Quite right. We aren’t good enough to play a game of inviting the opposition to attach us. Pathetic.

      • JonMag

that defence will always concede if we invite teams onto us

  • Tino o

Benteki didn’t really appeal [email protected]

  • Mxpx

I assumed there was an offside when the flag went up really dont see that’s a penalty

    • Tino o

      It was against us

  • Bowlsey

Well whether it looked like a penalty or not it was given as one and I noticed there wasn’t much complaining from Clark and co. We never get the rub of the green in these decisions anyway.

  • MadMag83

We seem to concede a lot of penalties. 1 for versus how many against us after 26 games?

  • nufcslf

Weakness’s all over the pitch. Only one team on the field now and it’s not the one that had a one nil lead to work with.

    • Mxpx

Agreed we seem to think we’re a 90s serie a team score 1 Park the bus and inevitably we conceed it will be 4 points in 2 games it’s cost us with negative tactics unless we score here

  • MadMag83

A Palace winner looks inevitable now.

    • Peaky Magpie

      Just a case of when.

    • nufcslf

I thought when we scored it had 2-1 loss written all it. Didn ‘t even bother celebrating the goal knowing it wouldn’t last.

      • MadMag83

        So many points thrown away.

  • HarryHype59

We are making Palace look like Man Citeeh now!

    • Mxpx

More like Liverpool id say but i agree its weak

  • Leicester Mag

    Second half utter shyt

    • paul mclaughlan

We’ve been replaced by The Bottom Club’s reserve team.

    • paul mclaughlan

The Bottom Club is a club in Byker. Just in case you don’t know it.

  • Bowlsey

I’m guessing Kenedy was knackered after his first half heroics, hence Atsu replacing him, but boy is his absence noticeable.

    • nufcslf

A knackered youngster, just as well we have the new forward to bring on……Oh hang on, he injured back in Newcastle. What a [email protected] Cashley……..

      • Mxpx

Good news is mitrovic is fit… Oh wait he’s at fulham

  • Peaky Magpie

Even if we get a point it’s not good enough with the fixtures we’ve got coming up.

    • paul mclaughlan

We are letting an average looking team look like world beaters. Thank goodness BT supplies rubbish broadband and my Sky Go keeps on freezing. It’s letting me right off the hook

    • nufcslf

It should be a real worry, instead it is just par for the cause.

  • Bowlsey

Right now even taking a point from this game feels like robbery. We’ve turned into the Renford Rejects in this second half.

  • MichaelMaximusMoose

We are what we are & that`s a championship team fighting to survive, the quality just isn`t there

  • HarryHype59

The player’s heads have totally dropped since the penalty! Mentally weak and limited!

    • MichaelMaximusMoose

      the ref`s a homer

      • paul mclaughlan

To be fair I reckon we’ve got away with a couple of decisions.

    • Peaky Magpie

      Absolutely….rudderless..

  • hetonmag

We need someone to put there foot on the ball it’s like a hot tattie.

  • Tino o

    Mariners a [email protected]

    • MichaelMaximusMoose

      so`s Fat Mike

      • Peaky Magpie

        He’s THE c*nt !

      • Tino o

        Goes without saying

      • nufcslf

He’s the real reason for the sh*t we have to watch.

  • thewildchimp

The lads are mental. I really hoped they are past pumping long balls to Gayle. He could never pass off as a target man.

  • Leicester Mag

Have we played ANY football second half ?

    • nufcslf

      None since the Kenedy/Perez chance.

    • Mxpx

      Karl darlow has

  • Leicester Mag

How the hell are we level ?

    • MichaelMaximusMoose

      Pure luck

  • Bowlsey

How the hell this is still 1-1 is beyond me.

  • MichaelMaximusMoose

we should get done for highway robbery if we survive

    • thewildchimp

With Mike, it’s already a death penalty. :p

  • nufcslf

Rub of the green……….maybe……..No it’s plain f** king awful.

  • Peaky Magpie

So the Burnley game was no one off,a Chelsea 21yr old reserve really is our best player…

    • MichaelMaximusMoose

      by a country mile

    • nufcslf

To think without a stupid penalty it could’ve been a one nil win. Man U should be interesting…….

  • MichaelMaximusMoose

A point, that`ll have to do

    • Bowlsey

Yup and we robbed ’em blind getting that. This is going to go down to the wire.

      • JonMag

        it certainly is

  • paul mclaughlan

    Awful.

  • Bowlsey

Thank God that’s over. I’m embarrassed for both clubs that was televised.

    • hetonmag

      What ??

    • nufcslf

Just two of about 9 teams that shouldn’t even be in the prem to begin with.

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

gave up a soft penalty, then missed a blatant one on Shelvey. I suppose that’s a wash. not a very fun game to watch.

  • JonMag

what a mess, blagged them for a point.

  • Peaky Magpie

    Man Utd,Bournemouth then Liverpool…..nil points…..trying hard as hell but I just can’t get positive…..

    • JonMag

Can`t see a point there for us

    • glassjawsh-got-banned

the only one that’s a no hoper is @Liverpool. I don’t discount 0-0 draws in the other two. it’s going to be dreadful to watch either way.

      • Peaky Magpie

Wish it was the cricket season and I f**king hate cricket….

        • glassjawsh-got-banned

yeah, at least there is usually basketball on that I don’t mind watching.

          • Peaky Magpie

Of course you’re in the States aren’t you ?

          • glassjawsh-got-banned

family from the NE, but I’ve been in the US my whole life.

  • GToon

Nowt to do with the game but … I dropped my son off at uni and noticed the main building in the business area is called the “Ashley building”.

    • paul mclaughlan

Probably kitted out by community furnishers.

    • nufcslf

Makes you cringe doesn’t it. Every day on the way to work, O hace to go by Ashley Furniture. Never going in there.

    • Peaky Magpie

F**king hate Laura Ashley as well 😂😂

  • MadMag83

The last two games may well have relegated us. 2 points out of 6 from leading positions. 12 games to go and we’re 15 points shy of the magical 40.

5 of those 12 are against top 6 sides who we have an awful record against. That leaves us with 7 games in my opinion, of which we need to win 5. If performances continue in the same vein then we are doomed.

Had we taken 6 points we’d be on 29 points now, 11 points shy of 40. A few wins and draws would have been much more achievable.

    • glassjawsh-got-banned

the only point total that matters is the side’s that’s in 18th. 35 might keep us up this year.

  • TC Toon Army

Shelvey and Richie are too negative. Murphy and Marino should have started over them. And shelvey and Clarke shirt pulling after it already cost us. Rediculous. Darlow was fantastic. Real credit too him because that was terrible. Absolutely inxcuseable second half.

    • Mxpx

They weren’t always though they’ve been conditioned by rafas tactics

      • TC Toon Army

Could be right there. In the Burnley game Kenedy and Marino turned and faced forward nearly every time they got the ball. That didn’t happen today.

    • nufcslf

The start wasn’t the problem, it was the bit after giving us a sense of hope and going 1 up.

  • GToon

We need to start getting the wins that other bottom clubs do against the top sides. Hopefully Slimani will make a difference unless he’s injured for the season….

  • TheNutJob

I thought we were playing Real Madrid in the 2nd half, was like the charge of the light brigade
    😂😂😂

    • MadMag83

We have the unique ability to make any opponents look like Barca or Real Madrid, even Luton Town.

  • paul mclaughlan

Gary Neville is playing Draughts on tv now.

    • HarryHype59

      I know, pathetic isn’t it!

      • paul mclaughlan

Ridiculous these old ex pros getting jobs on massive salaries talking absolute shyte.

  • Leicester Mag

This is the antithesis of what Newcastle has stood for. We’ve no pace, guile or skill. Not one game changer. A championship side playing football that would make Buffalo head blush. Even if we stay up will it ever change under this shythouse owner? Doubt it

  • TheNutJob

Bring on Jose & park the bus, make that 2 buses
    🚌🚌
Look there`s Hoss, ready for next week🐎

  • Peaky Magpie

I fully believe we may scrape up on GD as there are 3 teams worse than us…not on our ability…purely on others been poor…

    • Leicester Mag

And the what? Sadly more of the same even if we survive

      • Peaky Magpie

Never decreasing circles,Fatty trousers the tv money and stays put for another 10 years….horrible thought…

  • ToonTom

Self destruct button. Just like Soton away when 2-1 up and giving away a totally needless penalty. Today’s totally needless penalty was nearly followed up with a second – not just from Shelvey (Clark was incredibly at it as well in the same moment!!!). A far more stonewall penalty was the block on Lascelles in first half stoppage time. It’s at times like this when you see the officials’ natural urge to want to give a home-decision.
So Huddersfield (1), Brighton (1), Burnley (1), Soton (2) and Palace (2) away, Bournemouth (1), Everton (1), Burnley (2). There you are, just off the top of my head you’ve got 11 points that more controlled play a a little more luck would have seen us have.

If we survive, it could be by the slimmest margin we’ve ever survived in the top flight. Just another miserable season unable to enjoy the football for the fear of the consequences of it? Even last season, we put ourselves through the mill in trying to throw away promotion and then the title.
Does anyone remember when we were mid-table in the Premiership and could just enjoy the relegation battle going on beneath us???

  • Soldier

    rubbish, got away with murder

    • Peaky Magpie

Aye , we OJ Simpsoned that game today…

    • HarryHype59

We mugged CP for a point today! I cannot believe how bad Newcastle were in the second half!

      • TheNutJob

        i can

        • HarryHype59

Even by the poor standards of this season that second half performance was shocking! The ball was constantly given away as the passing was non league level.

Our midfield couldn’t get in the match in the second half.

  • Mrkgw

Very bland second half from our team. Darlow started well but transformed himself into Steven Taylor with gloves. Ritchie tries hard but on evidence of this, Championship is where he will shine most. Perez ran and ran but with no end product. Same with Gayle. Ashley has reduced our club to the ground. The bloke is a complete disgrace.

    • paul mclaughlan

      I think I would’ve been happy with “bland”. 😂

      • Mrkgw

        Or, meek?

    • Soldier

i though he would have put Murphy on for Ritchie in the last quarter

      • Mrkgw

Yep, likewise. At least he would have gone at the opposition. We have very little flair and sides have nothing to be afraid of.

        • Soldier

can`t win anything in the air up front, Slimani will though

          • Mrkgw

Yes, look forward to seeing him play for us. May be the cutting edge that we need. With Kennedy fully fit, they will help.

    • nufcslf

Sickening isn’t it. Steven Taylor with gloves….brilliant…..

  • Natturner26

Rafa bought a team full of garbage players so it is no wonder he can’t figure out a decent starting 11. I am finally convinced we are going down. The last two matches were two of the easiest matches left on the calendar. Rafa’s masterstroke was to get rid of our best striker and sign an unfit one. The result was two points we were lucky to hang on to. I watched Mitro’s new team yesterday and they would give us a hiding. This season’s product of Newcastle football might be the hardest to watch ever, even harder than last year when we were playing boring nick a goal or two football in a league we should have been skating with 5 goal victories.

    • HarryHype59

“Rafa bought a team full of garbage players”

There wasn’t one of Rafa’s £44m summer signings, started that game today.

      • Natturner26

Because they are garbage mate. They’d be starting if he spent wisely.

    • Lakeland Mag

Rafa bought a team designed to get us out of the Championship last season, which succeeded (if not spectacularly). He was then promised by Ashley the funds necessary to strengthen that team/squad to change it from a Championship level one to one able to compete in the Premiership. Those funds were, of course, never released by the greedy, lying fat one and we now see the result, a Championship level team/squad desperately scrabbling around trying to claw enough points together to stay in a league that they’re not really equipped/fit to be in. I’m no “Rafa can do no wrong, ever” person, but the root cause of this sorry state of affairs lies firmly at the door of one man, and it’s not Rafa Benitez.

      • HarryHype59

Not one of the players he bought in the summer started today! Why was that?

I put 70% of the blame on Ashley for for predicament, but Rafa bought some dross last summer!

      • Colin Brumwell

So why give them 3-4 yr contracts and Lazaar, Selzs and Gamez( does he actually exist) hardly been inspirational

      • nufcslf

        So very true

  • gallowgate26

Whey that’s us knackered then. Needed 4 points from those two games. Now relying on getting shock results against the likes of Man U and Liverpool. Even Manc Citeh don’t get anything at Anfield. I predict a long painful season going down by 1 point again. (That corner that they didn’t defend against Burnley has cost us £100m IMO)

    • gallowgate26

EDIT: Needed 6 points from those two games really. (If we were to stay up)

    • Mxpx

I’m not sure we have “bad players” Jack colback was on the verge of breaking into the England squad when he arrived then he progressivly looked worse and worse for us having now gone to forrest he’s had a great game time will tell but looks like we have failed to get the best of him as well as others we used to say “pardewed” doesn’t look like that has gone anywhere

    • nufcslf

Fatty’s 100m you mean. Team wouldn’t see a penny of it anyway.

  • Peaky Magpie

Well nee pressure on Slimani next week then…..if he’s fit….

    • TheNutJob

he better be, or you know what it means

    • gallowgate26

Let’s all hope he does a Cisse… (Mashely eggs in one basket, never seen that before!!)

  • TheNutJob

having a toby over to the ronnie

    • Leicester Mag

      • gallowgate26

Did Lee Ryder even go to school? :)

        • Leicester Mag

Learnt everything off spot the dog. Sadly never matched the depth of his books. Sarcasm aside Ryder et al are a sick joke

        • Peaky Magpie

          School of D*ckheeds.

      • TheNutJob

some of them blame “Manuel Benitez”
        😂😂😂

  • Tino o

Not the worst result considering the the total panic of the 2nd half and the help of the wnkas in black! We are going to scrape this then here’s praying fatty fcks off !

    • nufcslf

On a posotive we’ve taken 4 points off those c**ts. The fatty f**k off has to happen before my heart is back into giving this shambles my full support.

      • Tino o

These games are must not lose and Rafa is all over it !

  • Peaky Magpie

Let’s make no mistake a point away to any PL team is normally ok it’s the way we can’t hold a lead that’s concerning but our biggest problem is we are absolutely f**king sh*t at home…fortress SJP my ar*e…

    • nufcslf

Made me laugh in the commentary with Andy Townsend saying about big home games coming up. Thought the same thing, ‘Sh*t we are even worse there’.

      • Peaky Magpie

        🤣😂🤣

      • gallowgate26

Our home form will relegate us this season, simply not good enough. 19th in the league for home form. It’s like the players are too scared to wear the shirt. Need a new owner and get rid of most of them.

  • gallowgate26

Divvent w-o-rry…Cashley’s plan to trouser the TV money and have another cheapo crack at promotion next year will unravel when Rafa and half the season ticket holders leave. Good luck fatty. :)

  • Danimal

Back in the real world. Last 8 games, 2 wins, 4 draws, 2 defeats (both Man City). Exactly the same form as our opponents today, who apparently “have momentum”. We’ve had 4 points off them by the way. Would Swansea, Huddersfield, Stoke or West Brom swap with us? I’m not suggesting we’re any good but we’re making a go of it. Oh and we’ve made up 8 points on one of those teams since Christmas.

    • Tino o

Exactly only 1 aim by hook or by crook we will survive we are not good enough for it to be pretty

  • glassjawsh-got-banned

hopefully can pick up a point over the next 3. Then home to S’ton is a must win. That would put us on 29 points with 8 games left to play. 9 from 24 should see us through. This is going to get really really ugly.

    • JonMag

can`t see a point from those 3 games & yes it`s yet another win game against the Saints

      • Tino o

You wouldn’t being a total pessimist

        • JonMag

like i`m the pessimist who forecast us to win, so [email protected]@k off you dipstick

        • paul mclaughlan

Anyone who’s followed The Toon for a long time is 100% pessimistic.

          • gallowgate26

            They can’t even win a penalty shootout…

    • Jimmy_toons

      Uglier, surely?

  • JonMag

let`s hope Stoke, Huddersfield & WBA [email protected]@k it up because things look bleak

    • gallowgate26

West Brom started well and took the lead yesterday. Thank foook Soothampton came back!!! We will go down with Pardew and either Swansea or Stoke IMHO. :(

      • Peaky Magpie

I think WBA & Huddersfield then a massive dirty scrap between the rest.

        • JonMag

          that`s what i`m thinking

        • gallowgate26

Nah it’ll be WBA + Stoke/Swans/Hudd + NUFC. No scrap required.

  • Tino o

Blocks people who challenge his idiotic views

  • Tino o

    Simpleton

    • paul mclaughlan

      Who?

      • Tino o

Not you just checking if that word was allowed

  • Polarboy

In the end a point was decent. Palace came back very strong in the second half, and Zaha was a pain in the ar*e all afternoon. One of our biggest problems is our lack of height and strength in forward positions. Hopefully Slimani can come in and bully a few defenders for us instead of the other way round. Did we need three points, absolutely, but a point away to a relegation rival could be crucial. Games against teams relatively comfortable and not the top teams are going to important obviously. Bournemouth, Leicester and Everton are games we need at least five points from.

  • hetonmag

The Mag I would like an explanation why my post was deleted there was no swear words unlike some posts on here.

    • Tino o

      They don’t like you

      • hetonmag

Thought that i think I will make it easy for them.

        • Tino o

Just swear and be abusive but disguise it

          • hetonmag

I’m resigning stuff them if you can’t put your views forward in what I thought was sensible what’s the point in having a debate so goodnight to the Mag and goodbye.

          • Danimal

You just can’t say F and C. So you cant say anything about beloved owner.

          • Mrkgw

Don’t let em grind you down.

    • GToon

Did it have a website link in it?

  • GToon

There’s normally one team who just isn’t very good and will get cast adrift (WBA). Then there’s a team who gets on a massive losing streak and can’t get out of it (Huddersfield). The third place is up for grabs. The honeymoon period at Stoke is over. Swansea have yet to revert to type after a few wins. That leaves us. We just need to keep picking up positive about today is that those below us now need to win to go above us as our goal difference is worth a point. I wonder if Ashley has put a bet on for us to stay up or go down.
