We asked you the question yesterday…Which 11 players would you pick in your Newcastle team v Chelsea?
We put together a list of the 25 players who could potentially be selected on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge
Can Newcastle get through to the FA Cup fifth round for the first time since 2006?
With it being an FA Cup match, there is more of a spread of votes/support, with Newcastle fans acknowledging that Rafa Benitez may well rotate his squad ahead of Burnley in only three days time.
The top mark is only 73% whereas normally the most popular choices in Premier League games are 90%+.
Four of the six most popular choices make up the back four.
Jamaal Lascelles (73%) is the top choice, whilst alongside him Ciaran Clark (63%) is fifth highest. Chancel Mbemba just missing out on the team with 49% support.
Full-backs DeAndre Yedlin (72%) and Paul Dummett (63%) were also easy choices.
Goalkeeper was more divided, Rob Elliot (50%) sneaking into the side, with Karl Darlow (35%) and Freddie Woodman (15%).
Whilst Rafa Benitez doesn’t appear too sure about playing the pair together, fans have gone for both Merino (68%) and Shelvey (59%) in the middle of the pitch.
Aleksandar Mitrovic the choice up front, though only with 57% support.
In the fan selection there is no obvious second striker, though Christian Atsu did play behind the main striker when Newcastle won at Stoke. In that game, Matt Ritchie (54%) lined up on the left wing and Jacob Murphy (70%) on the right.
