It is Newcastle v Luton on Saturday 6 January.
Newcastle United given a home draw against the current League Two leaders.
The Luton fans are obviously well up for this one, especially with their league form, as they received an initial 3,000 tickets allocation and on Wednesday morning have confirmed (see below) that they have now received an additional allocation.
Meanwhile, this morning has also seen Newcastle announce yet another sell out. The club confirming that all tickets are now sold for the home match with Brighton on Saturday 30 December.
Newcastle supporters took up the full 3,000 tickets allocation for Arsenal at the weekend and now, despite losing eight and drawing one of the last nine matches, we now have the following ticket situation over a period of nine days apart…
Sat 23 December – All 3,000 away tickets sold for West Ham.
Wed 27 December – St James Park a 52,000+ sell out for Man City.
Sat 30 December – St James Park a 52,000 sell out for Brighton.
Mon 1 January – All 3,200 away tickets sold for Stoke.
As somebody once said: just imagine if Newcastle were ever successful…
