I have been going since 1969 and stuck by them in the dark old days of the second division. While this site normally marks players down compared to the Nationals which tend to be more in line with what’s happened, today you gave a player a to high mark he should have had a zero. The worst player I have had misfortune of seeing ever. I felt like running on the pitch and dragging him off such was his lack of effort and lack of interest a total disgrace to Newcastle United Football Club and the paying customers some of which do without to support their club.

I assume you are referring to SloMo, if you are I agree.

From when I started going in ’66 there have been some players who have been distinctly average footballers but still selected each game. Tommy Gibb for example, took tremendous stick from the crowd, but you could see he was trying his best. If what we have seen from Diame is his best…we would have to pay some other team to take him off our hands.

I suspect when the dust from last night settles and SloMo trains well for the next couple of days we will see him a least on the bench at the weekend and given Shelvey taking a week off probably in the team.

I can tolerate poor players but not ones that do not try and watch the game go by. It’s Tommy ‘s birthday today and there is a write up on him on Biffa s site which mentions the stick he got from the crowd does not happen nowadays thank goodness as it solves nothing though there was cheers when he came off.not from me by the way.

He obviously puts all of his efforts in tot training and is worn out for the actual games

Mo should not be on the pitch, he is truly bad
