Earlier today we asked you the question…Which 11 players would you pick in Newcastle team v West Ham?
We put together a list of the 21 players who could potentially be selected at The London Stadium.
Jesus Gamez and Aleksandar Mitrovic out injured and Jonjo Shelvey suspended.
There are two striking things.
Fans have picked the same collective team that they did last week for the Arsenal match.
Plus, 10 players are seen as easy choices with 70% or more of fans voting for them.
Then making up the 11 is Chancel Mbemba, even though he only gets 40% of fans voting for him, last week it was 45%.
What is interesting is also the severe lack of support once again in fans picking strikers, attack minded midfielders/wingers. With Mbemba an 11th choice I once again didn’t even try to do an image of how the team would look. As the 11 selected gives a goalkeeper, five defenders, two wingers, two central midfielders and a striker, which would make it a kind of 5-4-1…
