Would Newcastle fans take a point at West Brom? Votes counted

After four defeats in a row, we asked Newcastle fans a simple question earlier today.

Would you take a point at West Brom?

With a difficult set of fixtures following as well, Chelsea up next at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

So even though West Brom are bottom of the form league (2 points from the last 18 – Newcastle have 4 from 18), would you take a point if offered now, to steady the ship?

It was a very clear response with:

68% saying yes they’d take a point.

32% saying no and gambling on what happens at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night.

Quite surprised at just how many, almost 7 out of 10, that said they would take a point.

However, the reality is that it would mean 15 points from 14 games and ensure Newcastle stayed three points clear of West Brom who are currently fourth bottom. Whilst also hopefully edging a further point ahead of the bottom three – West Ham in 18th are currently four points behind Newcastle.

These are the next seven matches that face Newcastle over the course of the next month:

West Brom v Newcastle – Tuesday 28 November (8pm)

Chelsea v Newcastle – Saturday 2 December (12.30pm)

Newcastle v Leicester – Saturday 9 December (5.30pm)

Newcastle v Everton – Wednesday 13 December (7.45pm)

Arsenal v Newcastle – Saturday 16 December (3pm)

West Ham v Newcastle – Saturday 23 December (3pm)

Newcastle v Man City – Wednesday 27 December (7.45pm)
