The Newcastle United club shop has been expanding its range.

Great to hear that they are being so proactive ahead of the Christmas rush.

The babywear department has been getting special attention and definitely worth a look…

As you can see below, they are definitely thinking along non-traditional lines.

Yes your baby will definitely be blowing bubbles if you shop online at the Newcastle United club shop:

I bet you can’t wait to see your little magpie in the famous black and white….mmm, claret and blue!

It looks like there has been a little bit of leakage from the Sports Direct site that the Newcastle United one is so closely linked with.

It isn’t clear exactly how much if anything the club actually profits, if anything, from the Newcastle United club shop sales.

The club shop relationship with Sports Direct so muddied that it is difficult/impossible to tell from the information provided in the club accounts.

Back in the day, Newcastle United earned a fortune from the merchandising, especially via sales of replica shirts.

This is yet another area where there is room for massive improvement under new owners, just part of the significant extra revenue that can be earned once Mike Ashley has gone.

Nice also to see the reopening of the various official NUFC club shops that have been closed in favour of the current owner’s Sports Direct stores, unless of course he insists on this not happening as part of his leaving package…

It’s this kind of s**t we can look forward to be rid off IF we are sold..

    • Oooh bobbi fleckman

These mistakes happen, the warehousing, fulfillment and online presence is maintained by Sports Direct for a number of clubs. Other clubs use other suppliers such as Kit Bag because of economies of scale. NUFC used to do this in house but made losses in some years and struggled with logisitics.

It’s highly likely that the new owners will continue to use SD for fulfillment etc.

“Back in the day, Newcastle United earned a fortune from the merchandising, especially via sales of replica shirts.” – Hmmm, facts, facts, Facts. NUFC actually made a loss from merchandise in the year before MA took over which is why MA immediately sacked off the previous warehousing etc.
