Manchester United fans comment after pre-Newcastle Pogba, Ibrahimovic news – Bit of a mood change…

Manchester United fans have changed their tune in the past 12 hours or so.

Considering they are second in the Premier League and have already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League with two group games still remaining…you obviously have to sympathise!

Add in the fact that at home the Manchester United fans have seen all five games won and not a goal conceded, plus 15 goals for them, then it gets even worse.

However, the moans and groans pre-Friday afternoon have all magically lifted with Jose Mourinho announcing that Pogba, Rojo, and Ibrahimovic are all ‘ready to play’.

Newcastle supporters are accused of going over the top in their reaction to anything but the Man U fans are really showing how it is done.

All three are good players but you have to question after long spells out, whether any of the three will really be involved, and even if they are – whether they will be fit enough to do themselves justice.

Manchester United fans comment via their top Red Cafe message board:

‘Who cares about the Chelsea game (defeat last time out)!

PogBack and King Zlatan are the only things that matter now!’

‘Imagine we’re 1-0 down and Jose brings up all of Pog, Rash, Martial, The Lion, Lukaku and who knows Fella !

You have got everyhing there. Skill. Composure. Creativity. Pace. Strength. Height. Finishing. Intelligence. What’s more, Martial and Zlatan are able to produce magical moment. Fit yourselves into the system guys!

Would love to see the face Rafa at the moment!’

‘We should be able to hammer them without risking Pogba.’

‘I think Pogba was ready before the break and he’ll start. Ibra and Rojo aren’t ready for 90 mins, maybe make the bench. I’d like to Ibra get on in the 2nd half some time.

Should be a typical Jose line up.

DeGea, Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Young, Matic, Fellaini, Pogba, Mata, Mhiki, Rashford, Lukaku

‘Pogba will probably get an hour or so with Rojo and Ibra maybe getting the last half an hour if we’re winning comfortably.’

‘Fellaini will start with Matic, but I assume Zlatan and Pogba will come off the bench.

4-0 hopefully.’

‘It’s Newcastle and that’s goals galore.’

‘Must win. I’ve been wondering all season is we are title challengers, I’m still not sure but we have to keep up with the league leaders, even being so far from the finish line. Hopefully they drop some points too.’

Seeing pogba and Ibra back in the team would be great, but I guess Pogba is the closest full fitness and he might be a likely sub. Ibra just there for morale, surely?’

‘Pogba doesn’t need to play and aggravate his injury. He can rest and so can Jones, Rojo and Zlatan. We just need to play a decent passing game and get the job done.

A 1-0 or 2-0 victory is good enough and we can save the good players for the future games.’

‘If Zlatan behind lukaku works, it would be a frightening pairing for defenders.’

‘Reality check,we finished 6th last season with Pogba and Ibrahimovic in the side, granted its good to have them back but I am hoping Martial starts over anyone else tomorrow!!’

‘YES!!! Our season starts now.’

‘Seeing Ibra coming back gives me butterflies in the belly.’

‘If Rojo, Zlatan and Pogba are back, I’d argue that’s our three best players based off of last season. What a boost.’

‘This will be a different team with Pogba back and I look forward to a good display from the lads! Changed my predication from a 2 to 3 goals win.’

‘Pogba, Zlatan, Rojo all back. The good old 4-0 time is back.’

‘We’ll win today because we have to, players have performed at old Trafford. I think it will be comfortable and Lukaku will get back to scoring ways. Pogba will start and make the transition between the back and front better.

Newcastle will camp in the box but we’ll break them down.’

‘If Pogba is ready I believe he will start, and sub him off when necessary/winning.

As Jose said, Pogba makes a huge difference in our general play.

We can rest/sub him at Basel.’

‘All this confidence until we lose and then Jose is a c… again for a week.’

‘Have a sneaky suspicion that Fat Spanish Waiter, and by that Newcastle, will be hugely up for it and raise their game since it is against his old nemesis club.

Just like Hughes and Stoke have their cup final against us every year.’
