  • Philippines

I can’t argue with the ratings but the only shot that looked remotely like going in was that from Perez. How different his score would have been if had gone in? I remember in the 1960/70 era when Joe Harvey as manager, there was a chap he played week in and week out that the fans thought was useless. Was it Irving Nattrass?

    • Hughie_Gallacher

Nattrass was highly thought of by the fans. I seem to remember Tommy Gibb getting a lot of stick, although he appeared regularly.

      • Wor Lass

Stewy Barrowclough was a bit of a flop.

        • Rich Lawson

Another potentially bright star undone by injury in an era when flair players got hammered by the opposition with no ref’ back up.

          • Leicester Mag

Saddest of all was the loss of Tony Green

          • Rich Lawson

He was magic. If only we had the physio’s back then instead of cortesone injections into a dodgy knee ?

          • Wor Lass

A quick dab with the magic sponge accompanied by, “Run it off, son”!

          • Wor Lass

I liked him but with a goal every 10 games he`d get hammered worse than Joselu and Perez combined on here!

      • Rich Lawson

Gibbo did a good job for us,but he was disliked, never quite understood why ?

    • Rich Lawson

He was a top player hampered by injury,we were always better with him fit.

  • S.G.M.

Cant argue with the ratings, I remember Wyn Davies, Had a massive nose.

    • Rich Lawson

Me too,a proper center forward,I’d settle for just his nose in the box at the moment.

  • steve pearce

A big fat zero for every player in black and white on that pitch. Shambolic, listless, uninteresting, inaccurate, soulless and downright incompetent A wake up call if ever there was one and the sale can’t come soon enough to replace our forwards and number ten!

  • Monkseaton Magpies

Why give Elliott such a low score he played a blinder catching every high ball in the box do people on this site go to games or even watch it on the telly I doubt it.
He was worth a seven or eight.
